Outstanding WJZZ was the best JAZZ station. Detroit bring it back we miss it so much.. I remember riding in my car in the D groving to WJZZ back in the days feeling I could drive all night listening 105.9. Keep groving Detroit

So, um, Grant Green took the best (most complex, most moving, most ambitious, most successfully ambitious) song by the best rock band/pop group ever, and turned it into a piece of crappy easy listening fluff. This is not good jazz, guys. It's not even good guitar playing. This is rubbish. He may have been a good guitar player once, but this is shit.
@richone99 Because I care about music, and when a good musician (i.e. Grant Green) makes a really stupid decision (i.e. to cover this song in this way), it really pains me.
@richone99 Just in case I had misremembered this version since I first listened to this, I listened to it again. Or rather, I listened to the first 48 seconds of it. I couldn't listen to any more of it because I was starting to gag.
It is what it was yes when radio was perfect. ..thas right like back in the day while listening to WJZZ. or Jazz at the Watts Club Mozambique on Fenkell ,or COBBS corner on Cass at Willis ,SHRUKRAN ( Thank you ) you thank you. Allah U AKBAR.
