a while back i did add Gumout complete fuel system cleaner but the noise was present before. I forgot to mention that the ticking goes faster when i accelerate but stops for a second when it changes gears thanks for your interest.
@CADevastator hey. did you manage to diagnose the problem? my car has developed what seems the same problem as you have/had, mechanic couldn't seem to work it out, said it would require further investigation.
@strawbongwae Im still confused about it, i dont want to do further investigation just yet. i think mechanics will charge me alot and also it could be a major problem. (god i hope not)

It sounds like it's hitting something just look carefully around the area and plus did u add anything to it
