  • Oh, this brings me back. Thanks for the upload. :)

  • I'm watching Ovide Video. I get the feeling I've watched it before..... Anyways I love the show the past 2 weeks since it began. Catchy song. According to the end credits it was made in 1987, I was born 2 years later. But I can't remember if I watched it before, guess I'll never know. But I will remember I watched it in June 2010 09h30 weekday mornings. Classics stay classics even after 23 years. Thanks for the song lyrics I couldn't make out what they were singing.

  • I liked this show. It's to bad episodes are so hard to find.

  • I thought it might be SO ADORABLE to hear Ovide say, "Cy, let's make up and be friends!" and to see Ovide hug Cy in his arms. I think it's in the "Nectar Of Happiness" episode; you could at least tell me if any of you out there happen to have it.

  • @SuperRodimusPrime Not for long they aren't! According to what I read on wikipedia, other Ovide fans should be able to see episodes outside YouTube in no time at all because NBC is planning to put them on, for some weird but happy reason.

  • I'll catch that sneaky catch

  • Think I worked out the lyrics, please correct me if I have missed out anything.

  • Man, I loved this show..

  • @ViritechCorporation I promised myself that someday, all 65 English episodes of "Ovide and the Gang" would be released on one 5-disc DVD box set, even if the only way for that to happen would be for me to get a new job and work for someone to do it (like Shout Factory, for example).

  • While this can't be as good as Timon and Pumbaa, Looney Tunes, or even Super Mario Bros and Sonic the Hedgehog, it's still a joy to watch. That blue platypus is certainly a lot more amusing than the crappy Ovide wannabe Agent P from Phineas and Ferb. I really wish young kids would prefer the "classics" to Disney's brand-new shows. There are still some series that need to be released on DVD, and Ovide is one of them. At least the Teletubbies are no longer on the air, thank God!

  • Ovide video was a fantastic series!!! I think it was better than Mario Bros and Sonic the Heedgehog. More original! It should be brought back! Look out for the Facebook page.............. :)

  • @plugsocket1 I totally agree with you! I even read on wiki that NBC station is planning to bring Ovide back and I hope it's true! Which would make sense because there's a new trailer for the cartoon up here! :)

  • The main thing that makes Ovide so good as a cartoon is how expressive the characters faces were, it was a sinch to know whats what in their minds. Many newer cartoons can't seem pull off adiquite expressions, a part of its usually styling and strict styles like anime can ruin chances for good expressions.
