When you first open your laptop or pc click on /Directory services restore mode (window domain controllers only) /and then click enter again to get sound & log in as usaul.

To a back up you pc get your old cd that came with the Pc/Laptop and reinstall it simples. Just simply clean the Pc Everyday.Buy a wireless chip for your pc if you have no wireless connection if your pc old try & see if you can upgrade it to knew one hope this helped =)

The vista freezes and lock ups? No, they happen to lots of people. Google: Vista freezes on update, or: vista issues and you'll be swamped with thousands of similar cases. But I suppose its down to luck at the end of the day.

I used it on my new computer. Absolutely hated it: it seems to be focused more on being modern in looks, rather than being a practical and useful OS. Sure Xp has its faults, but XP has never froze on an update (google: Vista freezes stage 3 of 3) and its always been easy, fast, and simple to use. I know Vista is relatively new, but it MS shouldn't of released it with so many bugs/issues. I know XP isn't perfect, but Vista is abosulutely horrendous. Just my opinion, I'm sure you enjoy Vista.

If you do 'quick-boot' then no, however you will not be able to use anything, also everything will be 'broken' and it will just be crappy! So, always to the 'full-boot' which will erase everything but will allow you to use everything. Therefore, if you have any important files that you wish to have, then please back it up, on either another hard drive or a USB Stick.

I put Tiny Vista on my computer, and that seems to be working quite well so far, however Windows 7 did perform better I think, it did have bugs, again I know it's not a final release. I am hoping that when Windows 7 is officially completed, that all the problems are gone, they should be, if they don't know how to make an operating system that has ZERO bugs, then they need to hire different programmers, I understand it's a daunting task, but it's their job, they need to do it right.
