I was there, all 6 shows. He recognized his band every time. He is by far the most electrifying man I've ever seen perform. He is fantastic.

This is hand slapping, foot stomping music that explodes before us and invites us to share in his joy. He has the best musicians in his band and they play solo parts. He is very proud of his band members and always thanks them. He also supports them in their individual enterprises. Not all his thanks to the band is shown on the video. The gift of music brings him joy and he hopes to help others to enjoy it whether its him or another performer. Thank you, awesome Taylor!

oldikins ... glad you find enjoyment in his work ... I did not the night Isaw him ... I was disappointed ... and , no I do not know him, so how could i really measure an ego except for what I see ... again, just glad others enjoy his form of entertainment ... but not for me ...

ahstc1973.............I wouldn't have responded except you mentioned Taylors ego. If you knew much about him you would find that he is the least egotistical performer I have seen. And.........he has several bands he uses and almost always recognizes each of them, not to mention the opportunities he has given them. Lastly, there are thousands of us who recognize all his songs...........and movements and tags. Of course none of us can like everyone.

To ahstc, you're right. Taylor has a unique voice and effectively covers a variety of styles from Ray Charles, to

Elvis Presley, to the Beatles, to Dolly Parton, to Widespread Panic. Versatile, yet unique!

I like his original songs, too. He's a pretty good songwriter.

him ... I am not knocking him but wished he recognized the band ...

One thing stood out to me .. .he has a Rod Stewart quality ( at times ) to his voice .. I am sure he could do songs that Rod both originated and covered well ...

in answer to ahstc1973, i guess thats why there are 100 flavors of ice cream, everyone likes different flavors. in my case, i love mine taylor flavored...as far as

a hugh ego...i think that is known as "confidence". in person, he is absolutely the humbleist person. very gentlemanly and polite. i love this video. sure wish i could have been there.

Taylor Hicks is quite an entertainer. Does a variety of songs both old and new. Love the sax, Brian Gallagher, and the keyboards, Brian Less. Great vid!

I think this is a wonderful video, full of fun and energy, and a concert that i wish I could have seen in person.

A couple things- what's wrong with acknowledging your own material? I think his own songs are great, and I'm pleased that he has the pride in them to say "This is a song I wrote...".

And his songs DO last a long time- that's when he steps back and gives the members of whichever band has been put together for this date a time to shine. He highlights every one of them. Awesome!!

I saw him at Epcot on the 2nd and thought he selection of songs was terrible. Also, the songs went on forever !.

He seemed to have a huge ego and a true pro, would have introduced his band,

he never did, and they were very talented.

Not to say his voice is bad but he just sang his own ( constantly reminded you too ) written works.

I would not go to see him for free if he were across my street !

Not a huge fan of his recorded work but do enjoy him live and thought he did a great job here.

Would have been nice seeing the band acknowledged though. Some forget it's teamwork that makes performances great.

@ahstc1973 I'm not so sure you would't see him free if he were across the street since you are sitting at your computer watching his videos for free (and apparently went to the show for free). Taylor is addicting I know... can't get enough :)

Wow!! Auburn, you're fast. I just got home a little bit ago. I had so much fun and Taylor is the best. I love that you caught the entrance. Allen got a picture, but not quite fast enough. Fantastic music for 2 days. Thank you.
