ummm does this also work for an ipod classic and my ipod was connected to the computer but it does not show an ipod file ?

I deleted my videos by high lighting the video on the ipod and holding down the center button. When you do this a window drops down with the options delete all, delete, or cancel. You select delete, then it will ask if you want to delete the video and you select delete again and its gone! This way you dont have to connect your ipod to your computer.

@solidwaterguy i have a question regarding the ipod video cam. i want to delete videos from my ipod without having to connect it,.. how do i highlight videos?

On the main menu of the ipod there is a section labeled videos,scroll down to that section and press the middle button. This will bring you to a section with various video sections, the very first one is for videos recorded on your ipod, it should be labeled "camera videos" . Press the middle button again and then select the video you want to delete. Once you do this simply press and hold the middle button as i said in my first comment and that should be it. I hope this helped.
