I've always wanted to try Heroine as a contour as you've spoken about it in several videos, but as my nearest Illamasqua counter/store is in Cardiff which is over 3 hours away, I have to depend on the website and can never find it on Illamasqua's website! I hope I'm correct when I say it's sold as a powder eye-shadow? Do you know of any solutions to get hold on Heroine and/or any reason why I can never find it on Illamasqua's online store? my first year of art school in painting they taught us that all shadows have a blue cast to them, so thats why a cool contour color looks more natural. highlights are warm, shadows are cold. :) great vids btw

but i like my contour and blush to be really heavy, because i just LOVE that look and people are always telling me i'm not doing it right but i just like it like that and it's kind of ridiculous because most of the time i am wearing really so much blush, it should be obvious that i'm doing it on purpose! my two contour/blush idols are siouxsie sioux and elvira. what do you think of that look? i love going heavy on eyes, lips AND cheeks ;)

As a fledgling drag queen, this is incredibly useful for more natural looks, but I have to ask, should I still use the white highlight around the undercheek/jaw area if I'm trying to create a slim, feminine face? Because while I want the 3-D effect, I'm sort of concerned that it might re-emphasize the masculine jaw that I was trying to hide.

@blackwidowmollie Hmmm. If you aren't familiar with Illamasqua (but say you are with mac) try swatching their blusher in "Taupe" I'd say thats one or two shades darker than Heroine. :)
