MsDevilovato: Ironically, though cliched dialog & cheesy sap is what brought Casper into being, Universal tried to make a semi-serious movie out of a simple character. However, both Casper & Wendy exist in the Harvey Comics/Toons canon, whereas Universal made Kat up to avoid having to pay Harvey more money to use Wendy (which they should've done, since Casper/Wendy is the official Harvey pair & in Harvey, Casper is not an undead casonova like Universal accidentally seems to make him out to be).
