Its all true :) Improved shadowform now has increased damage given/reduced, dispersion is similiar to a rogues COS only slightly less time, mind flay resets all priest dots so you dont have to keep renewing them, improved spirit tap means more mana regen and higher %ge, priests get tranquility that druids have, finally Circle of healing gets a revamp...and many more. Its not overpowered as a priest wont have ALL the talents from the tree :) but a priest is gonna rule in pvp :D

shadow pirsets are going to be almost op in pve their mind flay now resets all proest dots on the target so all you have to do is spam mind flay and mind blast instead of wasting time and mana refreshing your dots.. i can safely say that was needed in BC cuz spriests were underp poweered in pve

Wow ... this is great news for Shadow Priests. The only thing they need to fix now is Shadowpriest scaling. All of this additional spell damage gained from spirit and healing, isn't going to do jack if the spells don't scale well >_>

I agree, I've always raided with a shadow priest alt on fun days (Im my guilds MT on my main), and I have been thinking about switching over because of the changes to shadow priests. Disc priests now are awesome also. It will be great to be a healing mana battery. I think I might go that path.
