  • Good luck with getting back to basics! You need to keep in mind, as well, that any week you don't gain weight is a successful week as well, compared to our old lifestyles! :o) I think it is smart to stick with the lap band rules, even though you are sans band. I wish I had learned (and done) the lap band rules years ago!!!

  • @iThinspire Thanks Jen!! So true no weight gain is a good thing too! I wish I had learned that years ago as well. But hey it's working now!

  • I can relate having a lot going on. Since about January I have had a lot of things that have caused me to move from one state to another and leave people behind because I had no choice. Since Jan I have not lost any weight I have been on an emotional roller-coaster and feel somewhat of a failure. Yes, I have lost a lot of weight but when one steps on the scale with a 10lb weight gain it is depressing and in my point makes me feel like a loser. I will keep my head up! Good Luck!

  • Gosh, you have been through alot and your still standing! Keep up the fight and just know that you are an inspiration to myself and so many others...thank you for continuing to share your journey!

  • Hey Jeremy: Looking good! How wonderful of you to help out your cousin. I'll be making a vid early next week to update everyone on my progress. It's good to be back at my regular job and in my routine - including catching up on YT videos. Take care!~Ann-Marie

  • @anewme1983 I was wondering how the heck you have been Ann-Marie! Thanks for the comment. Glad to hear that you will be making a video.

  • You are committed across the board & the weight will come off. No worries! :)

  • You really look good

  • @BigGurlx Thank You!

  • I know you are tired, but you really look good - and I can see that you look healthier.. :-) you rock - with that c25k... I hope I can run someday :-) knees aren't up to it yet. I have been walking 4 miles, I really feel it in my legs - big time, so I guess it's pretty good too! :-) Hope you can get some rest soon. Have a nice weekend.

  • @IamKris411 Thanks! Walking is great exercise!! 4 miles is awesome! Have a nice weekend too!

  • Great Video. I can not wait to get to week 46...but right now I am at week 12. Good Luck with the future and thanks for the add!

  • @love2uluvme Thank You!

  • Curious if this is your body's way of hanging on to the weight because it's still in repair mode? Obviously I am no doc but you might ask your doc about that possibility. Maybe in a few weeks it will get better. Another thing is maybe you're not getting enough calories with all the workouts you're doing so your body is hanging on to the weight for that reason? combo of both? I dunno - I just want it to continue to work out for you. good luck on the teaming up with your cousin :)

  • @seemego2150 Possible repair mode. My wife says the same thing. I thought about the calories but I'll try dropping them a bit and see what happens. If it doesn't do it I guess I'll go up and see what happens then. Thanks for the comment and support!

  • you look much healthier even though you said you are tired. i am happy to see that. i wonder if the overtiredness is preventing you from losing as well as you could. ya the calories in calories out is an oversimplified idea and i believe that most overweight or obese people have compromised metabolisms so you can't assume the same as someone who has a healthy metabolism. for instance, i gained weight on weight watchers. good luck this week!

  • @maryposa1978 Thanks. I feel better yes but these last few weeks have been crazy. I just need some time to catch up and get some rest. Maybe the overtiredness is the problem or maybe the stress is the problem. I guess I'll go to the basics and go from there.

  • Your such a great supportive friend for your family member !! good for you May God Bless you for doing that he is going to need you as well as your needing him...keep fighting the good fight sweetie.....love ya.....love rosemary

  • @gastricRose Thank you RoseMary. Love you too!!

  • I agree with you on your plans for continuing the rules... If it works for you then stick with it! You are a machine with the work outs. I can barely get through the c25k training. I have to do week 5 day 3.. A 20 minute run, That a big jump from two 8 min runs... I'm scared.... I hope that some day that I have the energy and stamina you have........ Have a great day Jeremy....

  • @melijean36 Hey I think you already have the stamina I have. I'm late replying so I know you made it through the 20 mins. Your awesome and you inspired me to try and run 7 miles the other night and I nailed it. While I was receiving your text about the 20 mins I was running my 7 miles. So thanks for the inspiration!

  • ::::big hugg:::: Hows the health with the tummy? Other than calories and ofcoarse, do you count/track catbs, fat etc? My daughter who is 25, is having surgery October, either the sleeve or the lapband. I know, (I type as you talk,) Wendys's soon to be hubby had it and just had a massive bleed from a staple, 5 years post op!!! Scarey!! 5-6 -10 miles!! Ookayyyy, I'm 6 weeks post op at 3 miles!!!! I can't imagine 10! wow!! Damn, your a busy man!!!! Please be healthy!! Love sent! Deanna

  • @RelaxxKiller Thanks Deanna! I just tend to count calories and stick to protein first. I stick to the diet that my nutricianist gave me from day one. Best of luck to your daughter. You got it I'm a busy guy!! I'm just now catching up on my replies.

  • 1200 calories sounds like a good plan. I know what you mean about the exercise vs caloric intake and not lossing wt. It seems logical but nothing about lossing wt can be considered logical.

Sounds like your definitely feeling better, but as we get older it takes longer for us to heal.

  • @lapband23 Yea I guess my metabolism is still messed up. I'm gonna drop down to 1200 and see what happens. Thank You!!

  • hey jeremy I have had both procedures done so if U or Ur cousin have any questions I might be able to help with pm me and i will be happy to answer :)

  • @jenny0562 Thank you! You had both procedures. Wow. My doctor keeps telling me that If I put a few pounds back on that he would like to do a sleeve. I'm staying positive and sticking to my diet and will get to goal.

  • You're burning a CRAZY amount of calories...do you think maybe you're needing MORE calories, not less? Keep up the great work, you are TURBO with your workouts! :)

  • @swish Yea that's the norm on my calorie burn.... Only down side is the smaller I get the more it takes in exercise to keep the same amount of calorie burn. I think I need to reduce the calories for awhile and see how I do. Thanks for the support!

  • I think Atkins sells a lot of products that will help your cousin keep the sugars (carbs ) down to a minimum per meal. Don't get discouraged. The weight will come off. You just might need to decrease your calories like you first did after lap band surgery to start the ball rolling again with the weight loss. Not a drastic decrease, but lower that what it's used to. Once you're losing again, I bet the weight will just keep coming off. You've been through a lot. You're amazing!

  • @SunnyRain247 I was going to recommend the atkins stuff. I did that for a long time years ago. Yea I'm thinking a calorie decrease is going to help. Thank you!

  • That diet will be SUPER helpful for your cousin for once he has RNY, I think. 5g of sugar is awfully low! 6 miles a day - wow wow - GO YOU - wish I was there! Good job Jeremy! :D

  • @losingitwithrebecca Thank You! He said 5g of sugar with each meal and each snack so I guess that's a total of 25g. I think that's atkins. LOL. feels good to be out running.

  • Good video, Dont get discouraged about the weight stall. Just keep doing what you are doing. Good luck.

  • @nanananabhappy Thanks for the message! I'm staying positive!
