Star Fox 64 FTW. I have had multiple playthroughs on that game. I know every secret and every route to take, and what is actually really hard and what is easy. The real defeat of andross was in that game. I have no clue how he even came back in adventures that made no sense. Now if they make one for the Wii they should bring back andross but as a puppet and something bigger is going on than we know.

Eh... I don't know. If I made the Wii version, it would have Andross as the final boss, but on a more epic scale the SF64.

This boss is a pain in the ass if you play on GOLD.

the music really makes up to the lacking intensity in the boss battle itself, but yeah, the game would have been epic with both this music, and a more difficult, intense gameplay overall. something I really missed from the 64 starfox for example where the low energy shield alarms (that shit was heart pumping) and the death music/animation with one of your teamates screaming. in this game I died once and it was like "hey fox, you're dead?,wtf"

details like those sometimes makes the difference.

The Star Fox games are a fun way to kill some time. I timed myself on a 64 run, and I beat the whole thing in 35 minutes!

It takes lots of practice, but so far, Assualt is the only Starfox game I have beaten, so it isn't that hard.

Not quite. Star Fox Command is the sequel to Star Fox Assault. Hopefully, Nintendo will make a newer Star Fox game for the Wii.

I agree. I just don't feel the 'magic' (so-to-speak) that I felt from games in the SNES and N64 era. But it could be that I'm getting older and more of a video game veteran too. Maybe younger and newer players feel that magic with the games now. If so, I envy them.

In my opinion, any game that doesn't rely on that stupid touch screen for controls is better. What I really didn't like about command was the storyline, endings, and attitudes. They should have named it "Star Emo's Command."
