I was living in Mt. Baldy and my friend calls me and tells me to come to L.A. this weekend because there is a rumor floating around that Janes is gonna play at Al's Bar!!! I couldn't believe they played here when I got back!!!!

I was there too! In the days before cell phones, calling from payphones to get tickets.
It was great to be among such a small crowd with the band just hanging around the pool. Got to meet Dave, Eric and Stephen. Great memories!

I have this show on a bootleg..Its my favorite Janes bootleg I have..Stephan and Dave tore up the whole show.If you get a chance get it it is called forget the rumors we are still alive

for the record, i was there! my friend was walking down Melrose and spotted a girl with a Jane's flyer that just had a religious image and phone # saying call to be put on a list for a special concert. tickets were $10 each or 2 for $15. later instructions were mailed along with a map to a location in LA somewhere. from there, they loaded us on a bus and rolled to the "secret location" which happened to be a ski lodge on Mt. Baldy. there were hundreds of people hanging around trying to get in..

this was obviously the show that footage was used for the "Stop!" video. Very nice. Saw them less than a year later in Rochester, NY...
