To us, the California flag was much more important to bare then the Navy. We want to be more patriotic to our country. We are already repping the navy wearing there uniform, so barring the California flag was much more important to us.

Its a Female. Once again, many units do their thing differently. Ours was to present the colors with the same cadence as the rifle which is a 2 count movement.

and a joint color guard is one where the is 2 or more branches in it not just navy

This drill meet sucked because the whole sling unsling and casing was uncalled for since it wasn't apart of navy regs. nor was it in the field manuel so there was no point in doing it but we would lose major points if we didn't learn it or do it in the actual competition itself. We only had 3 days to basically learn it and we had the basic idea down, but there was never time to sharpen our skills on it.

0:15 actually, if drobot said order colors from present colors, then the color guard would have to go to order as opposed to carry Paragraph 6005.1D, 6009

0:26 the cadets holding the colors need to grasp their sling sockets 6013.

0:40 i haven't found any one way to do sling arms. have you found some sort of scrip on it?

2:20 how is it a joint color guard? you guys are all one branch of jrotc.

2:53 it is countermarch march. might be weird, but it is regulation 6018.
