This is incredibly funny because it is so true!!! Great job! Here's the point, they can only charge those prices because someone is willing to pay them. I am a recovered BSWJBJ former member. Ten years ago things were very different. For about $800 US, you got tickets in the first 6 rows at Giants Stadium for two nights including hotel and transfers to and from the show. That's when Jon's mom was running the fan club personally. Those days are over sadly. See you in the nosebleeds for $17 now!

I saw Jimmy Eat World at Terminal 5 in NYC 2 weeks ago. Ticket was $32.50 for general admission, sold out show, monsoon outside. Brilliant - the crowd was into every song, the band rocked, 4-song encore and numerous thank yous from Jim for coming out.

If they're stupid enough to pay $1000 for a bullshit seat but not $10 for the recorded music, they deserved to get fleeced. Prices and money go to the crew,stadium,and then the bands new stuff being released,then the promotores,then finally to the band.
