i finished the game 5 times always using lvl 65 pokemon.

An easy way to get strong pokemon is by using only your starter in a battle with trainers or gymleaders and after every route or gym just train your other pokemon, at the end you have some really strong pokemon.

It may suck to you, but there are a good number of people that bought gen 5. I could agree the first pokemon game was the best and everything up to platinum slightly got worse with each game but hey, there's a lot of fan art of N! Plus in a comparison to Gary Oak (or Blue) vs N, N has a back story while Gary (Blue) served like a plot device really that would only annoy you, as opposed to this bishie. I grew up leveling Charizard and Mudkip but my little sis loves this guy :p

Let Shed Skin cure poison, then use Crunch.
