  • I want to believe it,but...eh nevermind you're all right

  • Hey guys, `having just come across this vid for the 1st time ...I've got to weigh`in on the discussion. This is authenticly from the May 31, 1974 Long Beach show, (laid down on vinyl for the classic, underground/bootlg release: "KISS FRIED ALIVE". I bought the LP in 1977 `when I was 16 & owned it til $acrificng @ $75 /ebay several yrs. ago to an overseas/Switzerland fan. And having heard the familiar riffs & tune-ups in that show 'so many times, I can confirm: "This video is the one", 2BCont'd ~

  • ACEDIAMOND

ACTUALLY IT WAS KNAC THAT BROADCAST THE CONCERT, I HAVE THE TAPES AT HOME, AND THE DJ SAY'S KNAC...

I HAVE NEVER EVER HEARD OF KLOS BROADCASTING THAT SHOW...

AND YES THIS SAME TAPE IS FRIED ALIVE!

  • I can't understand why more of this show does not exist. It was a showcase put together by the record label...a really big deal at the time.

  • okay the audio for this video is the audio from another performance am i correct?

because looking at peter the whole time he wasn't playing what we are hearing.....

  • obviously the same recording, as the video.... GREAT STUFF !

  • It's very good, but again by watching Pete, you see that the audio and video are two different shows. This is one of the better matches I've seen but it's still not correct.

  • Great video, this one tops all of the vintage clips...amazing...

  • 1:52-2:25 ace is ripping it hardcore. gotta love ace

  • nice to see early KISS

  • The audio is most likely from the Fried Alive Bootleg that was circulated in the 70's and 80's. I have not seen it in years though. The album started off with Clint East talking about a Magnum gun. Paul during the concert says "We are KISS", so I guess they were still unknown.

  • overdubbed sound....!!!! pretty obvious, so where is the live sound recording from?

  • I've been told that the audio is from a radio broadcast of the same performance.

  • KLOS did indeed broadcast this concert.

it is the KLOS broadcast that became "fried alive".

i have a copy straight from the master reels.

  • It's great stuff to have. All of it really should have made Kissology.

I wonder why The Coventry show from Dec '73 is being put on Kissology III which covers 1992 to 2000?

  • I got the whole 8mm collection the other day through my recent trade. :)

  • I got a 18 minutes video from this show but the songs aren't complete...Is yours like mine?
