- good classical technique

- no jazz impr. knowledge

3. Just try to find some information about how to improvise in jazz style ;)

I was wondering if anyone could give some advice on this violin training program? It's put out by a violin teacher named Eric Lewis. I was given a violin for christmas and was given a stupid book that I can't figure out. @aaron3325 Instruction from a teacher is the way to go its tough to figure alot of things out without proper guidance but if you stick to weekly lessons and practice alot the results will be very rewarding
