Dungeon grinding is the fastest way to level *IF* you get a good group, I've done that dungeon in 20minutes so, what your shaman got in an hour of questing you can get in 20 minutes, the trick to fast dungeon leveling is playing with friends.

I love to solo quest, but this video is right, you can't really get good items or a lot of money soloing by yourself. Blizzard should change that, I hate queueing for dungeon, especially if you're a dps!

By the way to anyone viewing this video: this was made before the Cataclysm expansion. As of Cataclysm there are now quests at the start of the dungeon.

My advice is do every dungeon only once to get the quests done. Other than that just quest.

Yah but once you do a dungeon quest that's the only time you can use them and sometimes you do a dungeon more then once. If you did the dungeon after you already have done that dungeon the shaman would've won.

and now in wow im so behind because i started tanking i leveled up rogue to 55 and i made dk untill 85 and my mates now made 3 85 characters and full geared and i still not geared with my dk in dungoean is so hard to drop tanking items and so easy to drop dps. now im dk frost dps and geared :D

i think this video is outdated because it doesn't show the improvements that Cataclysm has done with regards to questing. also, something that should be addressed is PVE vs PVP realms. with PVP realms, dungeon grinding might be faster because you can avoid getting ganked. however, i do find grinding more efficient in Outlands. only problem is wait times. but once you hit Northrend, it's tough to instance grind and you pretty much have to quest to gain levels.

Dugi there is a flaw in this 'test'/comparison as they are from different race faction and class as one different races and classes get different greens with different stats

i found a amazingly quick way to level: you que for dungeons and when your waiting do quest but kill almost everything infront/realy close to you while your doing the quest/ returning the quest and on your way to the area for the quest (kill a bit less while returning)

i've been leveling in dungeons with my holy paladin in dungeons and at lvl 20 had only 2 green items left, others were all blue. I think its an effective way of leveling

Soloing is much faster on my server unless your a tank,or healer, why? Tanks get into dungeon ques in about 10-20 secs or less, no lie, ther ques are almost instant. while healers can be from 5 minutes - 10 minutes, while dps are about 15 minutes- 20 minutes. So if your a dps, soloing would be the best bet imo.

I just started a paladin on December 1st, 2010. It is now December 4th. The paladin is currently level 52. I've had the most xp from doing quests, I've ran dungeons and it doesn't produce fast enough results. The average dungeon is taking about 40-45 minutes, giving maybe 1/4 to 1/2 to half of a level. In the same amount of time questing I can level 1-2 times. I expect to level 60 on the 4th.

tanking is not the hardest role on game xD i have a warrior i'm leveling , i use dungeon finder since level 15, i've always found it really easy and now i'm 51 i still do :P but , for instance , on my blood dk, tanking aoe is a challenge, even on my low level druid it is, it just depends on your class. now on my 80 paladin, i ve tried to heal and well i got to see it is by far the hardest role, even beeing quite overgeared for heroics. Dps is by far the easiest :P

I find that dungeon leveling is quiet good at level +55, where you actually get to use your spec fully as it should be, and you gain experience whether you decide to be a tank/dpser/healer, Also, for those who say that queues take a lot of time, simply do regular questing while you wait for queues, thats what i do, and as far as "Dungeon Questing" it should be done at all levels :D

You forget the huge wait between runs!!! There you may loss like 20 up till 2 hours of time! Even if you quest between that time it still will be a big waist :S

If you had all heirloom gear, you would level form nearly each dungeon, and if you had the RaF bonus, It would be nearly impossible to "not" Level! But yeah your info is about right, Keep doing what your doing, what dungeon map addon is that?
