Do you still have all of this? I have the same exact truck but single cab with all aftermarket speakers and a 10" subwoofer on 800 watts and it's good for what it is. The single cab makes it seem so loud.
would you recomend getting the capciter i have a 93 toyota pick up truck ext cab right now and i have a old sony explode 12' with a 400 watt dual amp but for my birthday im getting your setup for my truck would you recomend the bigger box like yours and what waas the big 3
@shmegman1 Mostly capacitors are just for show, they really don't do too much because yeah they dump a crap load of energy into the amp when it hits hard, but that energy still has to come from your electrical system so its pretty much pointless.I got mine mostly because of the digital voltage display it has on it.definitely go with the bigger box, no doubt. My system would definitely rape anyone with two L5s in the same exact box as mine. And check out my second video,I explain the big 3 there.
@shohannah5 My box is 16 tall, 16 deep, and 46 wide I believe. you only loose one click on the seat travel, and the third door closes perfect. 6.3 Cubic feet, its perfect. You do have to take the jack out though, mines in the bed in a net.
@yosip1115 when you have the windows rolled up and the doors shut does it sound muffled? When you roll down the windows does the bass get louder, becuase in my s10 with just a Alpine type R in it when i roll down the windows the bass gets louder.
@yosip1115 does it get queiter when you roll up the windows and louder when you roll the windows down or open a door, because that is how it is in my s10
@carpslayer151 Oh thats what you mean! A little bit, but at the same time it seems more powerful when the windows are closed, like your head is going to explode as opposed to being a bit louder with a window open. To me it evens out, either way its still better than no sub! Do you have any ideas that would help this out?
@brndawkins I'm still putting 950 RMS into it, I've heard of people doing crazy shit with these subs but idk if I'm ready to drop another 200 if by chance it blows...
nice video. you should definitely upgrade your mids and highs. i used to have stock mids and highs for a long time but now i installed a 2 channel amp and the difference is awesome! im also about to set up two speakers per door.
@yosip1115 try a custom built sealed box in ur S-10

wat herts ur run n ur box at
holleryboy252 1 year ago
@holleryboy252 32 hz. It slams the low notes, im a little disappointed in the 40-50 hz range. My amped door speakers should handle that range though.

the wire u used is pretty small... wouldve been better off using 1/0awg
agonz91 1 year ago
@agonz91 I wish... I don't even know if 1/0 would fit into the amp. I got my 4 gauge from a friend for $25 so I said screw it.
