Like other classes in this series, FAR too much talking (often with vague explanations which are more pretentious than useful) and FAR too little practical demonstration. Perhaps this is in order to spin out the talk. Take a look at Perlman's masterclasses for pole opposite examples, where there is humour, inspiration and he actually PLAYS, which is of course always the best way to demonstrate everything.

I think the thing to realize here is that it's not a masterclass--it's a workshop for string teachers.
