this brings me memories, when i was there, this moment was the one I had been waiting for for so many years. I still can't beleve I witnesed the very last E-street bant tour ever, on his last stop! BOW DOWN TO THE BOSS!!!!!!
@winsum4 Actually, from what the band members are saying, it's not the last one. Steve Van Zandt has mentioned a "two-year break" or something along those lines. I don't think Bruce wants to stop either.
So you saw a great tour closer, but hopefully there are still more E Street shows in the future. I think a lot of it depends on Clarence's health. But if there's another tour, go to the last show of that. Then...it'll probably be the last one.
@RamrodtotheMax nice job bursting my bubble lol hmm i didn't know that he had that bad health, he looked a little run down at the show but not too bad
And in regards to the Big Man, you might have noticed he didn't move around very much during the show. He'd play sitting down at times as well. He had major back problems during the tour, and just got surgery for it in January. Plus I think he's had knee replacements in the past.
Point is, hopefully some good time off will help him feel better, and he can do at least one more tour. But by 2012, he'll be 70. Even if he feels better...70's pushing it.
@winsum4 Bruce is only 60...Roy is 61...everyone is in that ballpark except for Clarence Clemons who, somehow, is older than all of them.
Anyway, hopefully if there's another tour, Bruce will really take it back to the earlier albums. The 2009 tour was missing songs like "Prove It All Night" and "Independence Day", which I think should be played every night. They didn't show up enough! We heard a lot of "No Surrender", "Outlaw Pete", and "Waitin' on a Sunny Day". Time to change it up.
Thanks so much for posting this intro!!! I am not trying to knock other posters, but I especially like this one because its not just the view off the flat screen above the stage. You really feel like you are there from this cam perspective.
This song gets better everytime you listen to it. I was at Giants Stadium Night1 when Bruce debuted it now that its tuned up its a great arena rocker..great perspective to show to crowd goin crazy!
I had the worst seat in the place for this show. But, the best show ive ever seen. 33 songs. unbilievable!!!!!
