From what i know , the dark halo and that other album depict a kind of altered story but with Goethe's "Faust" as the main base. Its quite interesting you should wiki it. @cassioam I saw them 3 times, Antwerp 2008, Amsterdam 2010 and Paris 2011. He was not well the first time, the 2nd time was the best concert I have ever been to and the third time he was ill. I will forever miss him, he was just about the only reason I loved Kamelot (no use for solid music without a solid voice) and after 9 years of fandome I really don't know what to do mate, I don't. Take solace in the fact that you only had a 1/3 chance of a good concert :P

Kamelot is a band like that is from Brazil but they sing in English, called Angra, wanted you to see this band (Angra), because the Brazilian Power Metal is also very good. Most bands are just as good or better live, unfortunately many within this genre are filled with sub par musicians that get heavily produced in the studio so that their albums sound good. It's a sad phenomenon... you don't have to be good to sound good any more.

@TheRisingRedDragon they didnt "just cancel" it. Kahn became very ill and had to fly home. Kamelot decided that continuing the tour with a replacement singer (fantastic as he would have been) would not have been fair to the fans. While very regrettable, I felt that it was the honorable thing to do b/c some people had paid over a hundred dollars for VIP tickets while others would have been traveling great distances and spending considerable money on gas/hotels.

I experienced a similar situation when Nighwish was touring the US and Anette's illness forced them to cancel. The only difference there was that Sonata Arctica was the opening band and so concert goers were lucky enough to get a free Sonata Arctica concert - something that is clearly the exception instead of the rule.
