I am currently building this kit. I can give it a steel overcoat (silver paint job) but I am waning towards gray. Who knows? I might pick up a second kit in a few years and do that. It is a great model- somewhat easy to put together; minimal seam work.

Love this kit. It has a permanent home on my desk. I am torn, I always wanted to make an all silver like you said, then I saw someone who did this in the Z+ A1 color scheme. I am a sucker for red and white mobile suits.

What are you planning on using? Aclad II?

This has to be one of my favorite Zeta type suits. I bought it at my local hobby store half off one day when they were having a gundam sale. I gave it a somewhat custom color scheme (used a military green/Grey instead of the light Grey it comes in, with a bronze color for most of the interior skeleton) I was a little worried at first but it came out very well!!

these fighters are awesome in the Sentinel novel, which can be read translated by Zeonic Scanlations, great gundam novel with cool dogfights :)

This is one of my favorites, too.

The cannon looks very good in wave-rider mode but I don't like the look in MS mode. Maybe it's not the look but rather the versatility. It more looks like a spear to me...meh

I got a small question. I remember this model was released after the ver.1 MG Zeta Gundam but before the Ver.2 Zeta. I had a pretty bad experience with my Ver.1 Zeta, with the connecting joint between the legs and the lower torso broken as soon as I completed it. I don't own the Ver.2 Zeta but I heard it is much better. So is the Zeta Plus C1 durable?, Is it closer to Ver. 1 or Ver. 2 Zeta Gundam?

This is a great looking kit! My brother built this and I loved the way it turned out but, he messed up on the hip joint. The poly cap that holds the hip together is all stripped out and now it wont stay together...=( They need to make a 2.0 for this!

I have the red version of this mold(but it doesn't have the gun) and I don't like it because I I can't transform it. Well I also messed up on building it cuz it was my 1st mg and was completly un prepared

I've always had an interest in this model. Ever since I saw it, I have just been in love with the design; both the MS and Waverider forms.

I normally have strict reservations about getting kits from shows/manga that I've no experience with, but for this guy, I think I'd be willing to make an exception...

Delta Plus really does resemble this one quite a bit... At least in Waverider mode...

BTW, why are all the related videos about eggs...?

@crapmunky99 Well... Upset that the iphone would not allow empty fields for posting the video info. I bashed the keyboard randomly. Apparently I'd typed in "egg" and "cctv"... which I changed as soon as the video was uploaded. The associations still stuck though...

Coincidentally, this time it ended up reintroducing me to the Cowboy Bebop OST, which I then played along with this video. I found it all to be strangely appropriate, too... xD

the Zeta Plus is from Gundam Sentinel, an excellent novel written back in the 80's.

it has been fully translated to english and is pretty easy to find.
