Hey guys, could someone tell me how to change the bass, mids and the treble or the tempo in in a single (individual) song/track in the timeline in sony acid pro 7? I'm kinda new to sony acid so I could really use some help.

Ive worked with music studio 5, and changing from 5-6 i guess i was lost. I downloaded the trail of 6 tho.

(to get a line without beat mapper)all you do is right click on where the tracks go after beat mapped and you should see a, (add audio track) click that and then grab a track or sample and drag it in the track line and wala ;) have fun!

how do you bring in a sample into your timeline WITHOUT changing the speed? I want to bring in samples without that beatmapper/autostretching nonsense.

yea i have this same problem. when i put in a song it changes the speed of it. how do you not change the speed.

After you open it click on it to highlight the track (on the left side) and press ctrl + alt + 3, then change the setting to "one-shot"

Yes you can. You will need an interface to get your guitar/bass/drums/samples you've made, or what ever, into your computer.

Sony Acid Pro 6 IS a "Loop-Based" software, but, you can multi-channel record with it.

u can't do that yet there's no software on the net that extracts an acapella from the instrumental..

If you right click on the sample and select alter pitch then use either + - depending what you want!

do u know how to turn the mic on? For example during recording how can u be able to hear yourself through the speakers as u record

Double click the speaker icon on desktop and if you have your mic pluged in to the computer's mic jack make sure the mic's volume is not muted. make sure that the record input is coming from your mic and that your overall output in from your master volume, that should do it.
