I got a samoyed for christmas is 89 in jacksonville florida and believe it or not it snowed that year in florida and she was so happy...but it was depressing because as the snow melted so did her high spirits. She was still a very happy dog but it was sad to watch her adapt to the climate. we had plans to move to nome alaska but never did.
Her name was Stormy and i loved that dog so much, she died of lung/ovarian cancer. ='(
Up at my parents shop they have a cat and my samoyed doesnt bother it at all and yes they are really good pets. You can have a lot of fun with them especially in the snow =p
Weve had a samoyed since puppy,i couldnt recommend a better kind of dog,taken to a regular groomer twice or so a year they really are no problem,their kind nature is more than worth it,great dogs
