Their new stuff is great, have you read the reviews? And AP isn't trying to sound like anyone on them. He has his own sound. Perry lost his voice long ago, that's why we haven't heard anything from him in over 10 years. Arnel captures the soul and passion, that's all they wanted for the old stuff.

Arnel is great in his own right, but Steve Perry was the original guy whom a lot of people have sentiment for. Let's leave respect for Mr. Perry who would still be singing - if he could. Xtexmex-- if you listen to both SP and AP they have different voice quality. SP is more girlish sound (Neal Schon) AP is more rock raspy voice. I personally preffered AP's voice.
