If you want to make videos to just talk about cool stuff that interest you (and us), why not talk about RPG? You characters and stuff... I would love to hear about that.
Maybe if you want to do something quicker, you can put out some covers or re-works while you write your own stuff in the background. I'm sure there's a ton of songs your voice would be suited for, and when you are ready, you can put out some of your original songs as well. Even pros do covers (and some really badly). It's easier, takes less time, keeps fans interested until you've polished whatever you are writing in the mean time.

Oh and also, the more you talk in videos, the more comfortable you get. At first, it's difficult to talk to a camera lense. It just looks like the damn thing is staring at you, never blinking, never looking away. After a while though, it becomes second nature. Check my talking video out, and you'll see. (i used to have more but deleted them). Also remember that you don't always need to get things correct first time around, because you can always edit :)

Oh and also, the more you talk in videos, the more comfortable you get. At first, it's difficult to talk to a camera lense. It just looks like the damn thing is staring at you, never blinking, never looking away. After a while though, it becomes second nature. Check my talking video out, and you'll see. (i used to have more but deleted them). Also remember that you don't always need to get things correct first time around, because you can always edit :)

@Cossbysweater The first one always is haha, its like "what the hell do I actually say? I know I want to talk about this, this, and this.. but what do I actually say??!!?." I remember my first video I posted about 5-6 years ago... I prepared so much haha, I rehearsed and everything and I was like "ok, lets do this!" I then turned the camera on and started recording... everything I prepared?? NUP.. mental blank..

@Palanor thank you very very much. I recorded this a week ago but couldn't stand the thought of posting it. i was lucky in many ways regarding the accident. in addition to surviving, i have gained some important perspectives and have chipped away at some insecurities i had. thank you.
