time to set the story straight LOOK IT UP Tatia is the Original/not a Vampire and NOT a Dopplegagner. she is the girl that lived in the 1200's when Klaus & fam lived as humans. both brothers fell in love w/her. to end her sons fueding Ester killed Tatia & used her blood to make her fam immortal and curse Klaus. Using her blood created the doplgnger curse as well. Charlotte is simply a charecter that Julie Plec MAY bring to TVD. She is a doopleganger (therefore CAN NOT BE TATIA) & maybe the 1st.

Her name is NOT Charlotte, its Tatia. I don't know if Julie Pec has mentioned it in some interview but I knew it won't be. You think Charlotte? She must be alive near 1000 years ago and was an European, so her name should be more old European and not this Charlotte. Its possible that she wasn't even Petrova, it might only be Katerina's name. I mean if Petrova changed to Flemming and then Gilbert by their daughters marrying men, so how was it Petrova for 500 years till Kat? They only had sons?

@LilacSreya ITA w/ you. Juie Plec does mention a Charlotte of her she says "we MAY see Charlotte in flashbacks during 1300's, WW2 & 60s woodstock we dont know yet". So she has2b a vamp & dopple there4 cant be Tatia. becuz Tatia died a HUMAN & her spilled blood that created vampires &the sun&moon curse also created the doople curse 2 her bloodline. Petrova is just the easy way to refere 2 her bloodline. Also sounds like Charlotte is the 1st dopple bcuz Kathrine was born 1420> charlotte 1300's

I read on the vampire diaries wikia that charlotte is over 800 years old and she's a vampire :| . it's a bit weird, i though that the women from the petrova blood line were humans. actually considered supernatural creatures but they are not different from humans.

@beforethestormx31 thank you :) they only mentioned the original Petrova in 2x09 and in 2x19. in 2x09 Katherine said that Klaus' curse was bound by her blood and in 2x19 Elijah said "You remind me of someone." when he met Katherine for the first time in 1492.
