@xZEUSERS did u get a hard copy,i got all of the books at the same time so the rest were paperbacks but the newest one was a hardcover because the paperback version wasn't made yet

WHY hasn't hollywood jumped on this franchise. The books are practacally James Bond films in print form, the plot and the action is all there just adapt the script directly from the book and u will b fine. The only thing they might have 2 change would b the Alex's age cos theres no way u will believe hes 14 in all the films

I mean the OTT comedic fights weren't necesarry cos Alex Rider is a witty yet sobre book series as sobre as the James Bond FILMS (tho not necesarrily the books). Alex doesn't talk too much and, altho not emo, typically hard done by and abused by the secret service

I dunno why everyone dislikes Crocodile Tears. Granted it was marketed as the biggest book yet. But u cannot top going into space or the climax to Scorpia or the sheer awsomeness of my fav book Eagle Strike. However, it was an Alex Rider book through and through, the only predictable thing in it was he lived Of course that was gonna happen u would b nuts 2 think otherwise. It was more than entertaining and if it lacks anything remember it was gonna b the last 1 till things changed

i think in this book you get to know a bit more about alex's scioal life than the others,

but there are bits in the book tht you think omg how's he gonna get out of this one.

and i dont know why but i really liked the ending too

@madaboutmillie Yeah I liked it, I dunno why ppl take issue with it. I mean its not my fav but it met an adequate standard set by prev installments. My least fav book was prob Skeleton Key and its not bcos its bad just its the least good out of the existing 8. U know I really thought Scorpia was gonna bt he last book EVA, and was scared witless bcos my 15th B-day was coming up and my name is Alex so in my silly little mind I thought some sniper was gonna take me out

I have the book now. and it is like that. Its metallic though and that made it a little better, but its still kinda not good, but at the same time not bad haha. I don't like the red eyes. If you aren't from the US though then you get a different, better cover
