Just the fact that it doesn't use Aero says something about the performance here. Windows would have automatically turned it on if the laptop was capable.

Nice..but too underpowered and overpriced..for that price you could get a fully powered 13 inch notebook with more power, or 2 to 3 apple ipads, which are just as powerful as this crap.

yes it is as always sony is well known not only for their design but also  for their price..

and one thing i notice is that why some brands can offer standard specs like bluetooth, more USB ports etc.

but in some sony models they always come up optional meaning you have to pay more just to have one.

is it the NAME your paying, the Design their R&D or just a marketing hype?

no joke at all. The vaio is a joke, claiming to be a notebook, when in fact it is a glorified netbook. Ipad competes quite nicely with this thing..thank you.

I'm a Mac fan but Sony is actually the only PC computer that I like due to the style and resell compare to other brand such as Dell, Gateway, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, etc.

Thanks :) I would totally get this Sony Vaio but the processor is not as good. I love that this Vaio is only 1.6 pounds and very thin which is what I'm looking for in a laptop and I'm not a fan of Apple OS. It's funny that one of the downsides to me of the Air is that it's heavier than this Vaio by 1.4 pounds. I wonder how long they'll wait to add a better processor to the X.

i would get the macbook air if you dont mind it being a bit bigger, because it has a better processor (for the more expesnive version) and a better graphics card (nvidia). im getting it beacasue it is only 11 inches, i want a smaller computer

Im stuck on the same problem. MacBook Air is absolutely beautiful but it's a Mac, and i aint getting into a "PC VS MAC" debate here but my PERSONAL PREFERENCE is Windows especially Windows 7. This is so far the best looking notebook pc i've seen, if there's any better please someone advise me

hey between Macbook Air and this Sony X-Series, I would go with the Sony X-Series, but for a Pro laptop, Macbook Pro all the way.
