  • w dupe se ten patyk wsadz kurwo

  • Definitely NOT a funnel web. The carapace is all wrong, as is the eye arrangement.

  • i hope it died :)

  • @zolaisacat it hopes you die :S don't be so horrible, it's only an arachnid, it'd done nothing to you.

  • dude to show its fangs make it lift itself up like in defense mode

  • you shouldnt fuck around with those thing a tarantula yeah but not that

  • Did you see all the venom on the dish??

  • Hes like, "bitch, get up out my face before i pimp slap you!" lol

  • damn nature you scary

  • looks to be a funnelweb but the markigns on its back proove a little different but i think it might be a normal sydny funnel web

  • Looks like Atrax robustus tome. VERY venomous very dangerous very aggressive males. Ctenizidae has a much larger and rounder abdomen and it is evenly sized to it's thorax. Hope you're going to put this fella back.

  • @MrLuvlyJubly atrax robustus has a shiny black thorax. this one has a light brown/ golden haird thorax. I believe it is a golden-haired trapdoor spider which is similar to the brown trapdoor spider which is common around sydney area. They also do not live down a hole with a trap door, rather one which has no trap door and a silken opening, which can lead to the miss identification as a syd funnel web spider.

  • @ZX10Rviper Looks like atrax robustus to me. Idiopidae Arbanitis is more rotund and lower to the ground, ideal for hiding in a lair of some kind or a web like structure. Plus it has more girth inthe legs than this fella here. Also Arbanitis is far less aggressive even the males.

  • I hope you get bitten.

  • @Shilo83 i dont care if i got bitten. These arent even that bad, at worst you will get sick.

  • @Naturaldefenceplant Wake up bro.... If you ever got bitten by a funnel web you'd die in 15 minutes.... Don't believe me google it,

  • that is one creepy ass mother fucker

  • that is not a trapdoor spider!

  • how mad would a Funnelweb be if you was wearing steel toe boots..?

  • cool spider. Man, a bite from that looks like it would really ruin your day.

  • I've got a Chilean Rose Hair tarantula.

  • same here =)

  • duren i pedal tez

  • Wow, good to see you're defending mankind by poking a fucking trapdoor with a toothpick. Regardless of the fact that it is a venomous spider, you're still a fucking douchebag.

  • why so angry? Afraid of spiders?

  • Considering I own 7, I'd say not.

Desn't make you any less of a douchebag.

  • i dare say using a toothpick to show its fangs is not such a traumatising experience for the spider.

tell me what spiders you own, i am interested.

  • lol... this is so funny! but seriously

    thats one cool spider

  • @Mawgbot The only douchebag here is you, crying fowl because of a video showing a spider's fangs through its natural reaction to being "threatened." Go bitch and moan elsewhere, you little bitch.

  • @Chubzdoomer It's "foul", douchecanoe.

    Have a nice day.

  • @Mawgbot No, it's fowl, chicken shit.

  • @Chubzdoomer Yes dear.

  • @Mawgbot On the bright side, it appears that two years later you're at least a little less eager to overreact and defend poor wild spiders from the vicious toothpickings of the madman here on YouTube. Next stop: Slugs and salt?

  • @Chubzdoomer You never know, I could be salting slugs RIGHT NOW.

  • dude regardless your the real fucking douchebag putting comments like that but yeah he was a douche for poking the spider with a toothpick but most of the time this isnt even harming them they just dont like being bothered then again it was for like 30 seconds so just chill dude

  • @Mawgbot

infact, if he did research a turantula can actually kill a human if they have a weak heart or anything allergic to the spider bite

if thatspider bit ya, and your allergic or had a weak heart

you would be fucked so yer

  • the spider doesn't look too happy

  • beautiful trapdoor!

  • No0Ob ^_^

  • its a trapdoor spider note the gold like hairs on the front of its cephalothorax a trait of the commenly named golden haired trappys of australia

  • we had these big black buggers in our yard [[funnel webs] and they re agressive bastards ..erm not anymore tho ..lol

  • KILL IT!!!!!!!! KILL KILL KILL!!!! IT IT IT !!!!! KILLL IT!!!! or capture it and keep it as a pet, prop what i would do ^^ theyre so cute

  • rlly people chill its a fuckin killer spider who cares its not like its a nice animal, make a video killing it! xD

  • Looks like a large male trap door. Often confused with the Funnel Web and Mouse Spider. Funnel webs have Spurs, and Mouse Spiders have red heads.

  • u snearious? its a spider shove the pencil in the body!!! its not like he's kicking a cat or anything...its a bug well arachnid but u know what i mean...u cant play with it its poisoness as hell and haveing those bastards runnin around your yard waiting to bite u isnt gunna be any fun at all

  • ik weet echt alles van die spin trechterspin (funnel web spider)

  • this is so gross, hope you squished it in the end urggghhh!!!!!!!!!!

  • spider is angry!

  • Its a big deadly spider not a butterfly, flicking it with a pencil isn't going to hurt it you stupid over sensitive cunts

  • no hes just trying to show the fang...ofcourse flicking it wont hurt em...flicking a butterfly still wont hurt it

  • stop poking the fuckin thing i hope it bites u !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @saoirseiskwl In other words, you basically said "I hope it kills you as you suffer a slow painful death scarring your family for the rest of their lives". How about you look at the type of spider and research the severity of the bites consequences! Here's one for ya': I hope you brush against a box jellyfish's tentacles! You're sick. Go get some help.

  • @kzalldaz Excuse Me Im mNot The One Poking The Poor Thing With a Stick. No Matter What It Is They Shouldnt Be Torturing It! Fuck Off And Stop Condoning Animal Cruelty, Think About Yourself Before You Tell Me To Get Help

  • @saoirseiskwl I don't go tying dogs up to the back of vehicle bumpers and driving off. Softly touching a spider with a stick? Wishing someone a "bite" is one one thing. Disrupting the nervous system+stove burn sensation+death is wrong.

  • @kzalldaz I Never Said You Went Around Tying Up Dogs, But You Can Clearly See That The Spider Dosnt Like It.. Get Over It Its Not Like Its Actually Going To Happen.. They Shouldnt Be Hurting Or Even Disturbing The Thing And It Would Serve Him Right If It Bit Him

  • when you first started messing with it, did you notice the liquid beneth it? ya that would be its venom.

  • fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck

  • Oh my god forget the fucking spider! It kills people! Poke it's fucking brains out!

You my friend ar a brave person! I wouldn't go anywhere near the thing!

  • That thing would give a nasty bite!

  • fuckin give the thing a break will you?

  • Comment removed

  • stop poking the poor thing!

    so beautiful

  • lol I wonder what he was thinking when looking at the spider. " Hmm, this is most likely a very deadly spider. Hmmmm...I better poke it with a stick! " lol

  • fuck that... kill it before it lives... then kil it again

  • dont poke it you arse! LOL cute spider but in the future DONT POKE SPIDERS GOD KNOWS HOW BIG THEY WILL GET THEY MIGHT KILL YOU OR BITE YOU SO DONT POKE SPIDERS OR ITS..KILLING TIME!

  • Quit pissing it off (x . x) *lol* but wow, that thing...scary.

  • That is one of my most delicious spiders i have ever seen(not sarcasm). Man, i would love to have THAT thing crawl into my mouth while I'm sleeping(sarcasm).

  • tanden zijn 7mm

  • my uncle had one of these a bit back, and it got out at one time and it was in the bathroom when my grandma walked in,i wasnt there at the time but it was well funny

  • Never had a problem jumping out of planes, but this fucking thing terrifies the hell out of me!!

  • dude, are you making popcorn in the background?

  • Jabby,jabby,jab,jab,jab!

  • Yeah, poke it with a stick and make it mad. Just unload a can of Raid on its freaky arse!

  • i f***ing hate spiders man

    they freak me out

  • wouldnt u just love 2 wake up and see that staring at u...

  • lmfao wow, poisonus spider for a retarded dude, good luck with that. He hasnt replied to anything maybe it already killed him.

You should take a shish-kobob stick next video, Shove it right through the spiders ass in HD. And cook it till its well done. Make sure you teach us how to drain the spiders venom with your 2 thumbs, and dont forget to intimidate the lovely creature by jabbing at it a few times so itll remember your the one who jabs it, and so it kills you alot faster, I mean loves..

  • you think a few pokes will hurt a spider like that? You are deluded

  • step on that shit

  • Sydney funnelweb spider, it can kill a adult human in 15 minutes. I would never get near that thing and I own a couple Tarantulas.

  • nahhh. probably a mouse spider. if it was a sydney funnelweb, it wouldnt even let that stick come anywhere near it. and at any sign of movement, itll rear up. but anyway, u made a close guess. these are closely related to funnelwebs.

  • so yeah ... that spider reaaaally wants to bite you lol

  • Oh yeah pokey pokey, jabby jabby!

  • I wonder if it would bite you if you farted in its face, LOLZ.

  • Go ahead and stick your fingers in there if your gona mess with it like that :D morons

  • that would freakin' suck if it bit you. that's just me stating the obvious.

  • That would have to be the tamest funnel web I have ever seen, not interested in attacking at all (notice the fangs weren't displayed until the very end)

  • spiders r gross i hate em

  • so beautiful! =)

  • those fangs are huge!!!!!!!!!!

  • Leave it in peace!!

  • I would have laughed my ass off if it had bitten you.

It's only a matter of time if you keep pissing about.

There is a difference between educating people and showing off.

This is not remotely educating or enlightening, you are just prodding a spider so it shows it's fangs! How educating is that to people? Pathetic.

  • god....relax

  • actually, we found one in our front yard where my two girls play and did just this so we could see the fangs.then we trod on the little bitch so she wouldn't lay any more eggs.

  • i hate spiders with a passion!

  • You have it in home?! : d

  • SPIDERS, NOOOOOO, PLease !!! YUCK!

Jared455,please If you get one of this spiders, take care!

  • Wow! What a big beautiful spider. It's so cute! I wish I had those where I live. It's adorable

  • i hate spiders and yet kidomaru is awesome

  • at 0:22 hes like oh you wait im gonna own your sorry ass lol

  • dadaddaaa, "you ugly thing"

  • dude your pissing it off

  • nice clip, im so keen to just see one up close. i live in melbourne, so i dont get exciting dangerous deadly spiders like the sydney funnel web. i wanna travel up there just to see one. where would i look first?

  • funnelwebs will fuck u up this dude would have one hell of a week if it bites him

  • if it bit him he wouldn't have a week

  • Yeah,I agree it would hurt like hell but if the spider had a chance to bite his dumb ass he would stop being cruel to any thing he keeps in captivity or....better let them free.....

  • What?! being cruel? I am showing the greater community the spider. Of course i had to agitate the spider to an extent to make it show its fangs. Purely educational clip, so back off

  • you mean thats your spider!?!?!! omg HOW CAN YOU KEEP THAT THINGIN YOUR HOUSE!?!!

  • I agree with you.

  • I aggre with you.

  • What do you think people who work in zoos do to educate people about how these funnelweb spiders behave? Better that people know about these spiders' attack behavior, so they know to get away rather than get bitten

  • omg those fangs are HUGEEEEEEE if that thing bit you it would hurt like fucking hell o.O

  • Looks to me like a funnel web spider. His aggressiveness when being poked makes me think he's one of the less common hunter types. Better watch those. They're mildly venemous... they won't kill you, but they have a very nasty bite that's quite painful.

  • yeh leave it alone, aint done shit to deserve that!

  • deserve what? a bit of poking did nothing to it

  • actually the poking porobably scared the absloute shit out of it.. these creatures aren't intelligent.. this massive human has a spider cornered and unable to fight back.. why do u think it was being so aggressive?!?

  • ahhh

  • lol what if it started to walk on the toothpick? i would love to see that person's rection.

  • stab it!

  • Very cool!

  • SHEEZ people, he didn't hurt the spider, just agitated it a little. I hate spiders myself, but I liked this video, it showed me how big spiders could be out there (not in my country though, thankgod) and the size of the fangs. Stop saying mean things to this guy if you didn't like it, you're just making a fool of yourself by doing so. He never hurt it. Cool vid. :)

  • fuck dude I'd cry if that thing came near me. I tink thats a tarantula is it?

  • Funnel Web

  • Yea, piss him off. Hope he bites you.

  • DUDE I wish you touck that spider when he was mad i wish dont make spiders mad

  • wtf?!

  • Steve irwin did the same thing on his shows... he never harmed...

I agree with Weisslander people are fucking irresponsible with what they bring into the United States... I would be pissed if my dorm roomate bought in a poisonous spider and that thing bit me...

  • yeah irwin was sorta the same except he obviously went too far

  • i would throw out both the spider AND my roommate if they did that

  • no you wouldn't, if that thing bites you , you wouldn't even get a chance to reply you'll just hit the ground.

  • I wish i had you in a bowl so i could continuosly jab you with stick. I hope the spider bit you.

  • You think that did any sort of damage to the spider???? I made the video to show people on the internet what the spiders really look like and the size of the fangs. Wow i had to agitate it a bit to get a response, So what? You annoying me right now- unless your perfect you must be a hypocrite.

  • word.

  • who cares im sure it never got harmed and returned safely back to its natural haditat :)

  • Great video torturing a spider there mate, nice one. Perhaps next time you could jab at a dog with a cattle prod of something

  • wow u must be soft or something? u think that is torturing LOL what ever man, just observing

  • Perhaps 'torturing' was the wrong word....i'll change it to 'tormenting' then - much better

  • that is not a funnel web

  • this is not a tarantula there are tarantulas in the australian tropics they are not as big as ones fron central/south america but tend to be aggresive, i wouldnt handle them as you see people do with pink toes and mexican red knees this spider looks like a funnel web

and they are super aggressive bastards that can kill,, in mating season they will attack anything that gets in the way of them bonking a female....evil incarnate

  • actually is a trapdoor :) still, i wouldnt rely on this when i see shadows of spiders lurking in the dark.

  • thats def a funnel web! I'm from Sydney and we get taught in schools how to identify those things. They're fucking freaky dude!

Those fangs are so sharp they can pierce your shoes AND your toenails! Still, no one ever really dies from them, you've got at least 40 minutes to get to the hospital before you cark it, so you'd prob be allright in the end.

  • look at all these long comments...

  • Australian funnelweb spiders have been found in California now. Probably stowaways from shipped goods.

  • really? that or some people have smuggled them over which is more likely. Anyway, whatch ur step :)

  • Yes that's very likely they were smuggled in. The things people would do to obtain dangerous exotic pets these days. Dangerous spiders were introduced here in America in the past and I wouldn't be surprised if these things are breeding out here in the American west. If so, the US had better be stocking up on antivenom because this is a spider with serious attitude!

  • I would just like to tell all those hippy fags out there who have no idea about anything, dont watch this video and have a cry about the spider. Ie. poking a spider doesnt hurt it!

  • yea i was gonna say u must live somewhere like down under or in africa...i envy you man someday i'm gonna move there...killer spider by the way...u keepin him?

  • yeah, i wish australia had tarantulas though- there a heaps of these around my house, i ususally put them in resin for key ring/ paper weights- but sometimes fight them with other spiders eg. wolf spiders - ill get some footage next time

  • Australia DOES have tarantulas!!! there are a few... some Tarantulas with fairly potent venom (as compared to most other tarantulas that is)... like the Phlogiellus... there are also the Selenotholus and Selentotypus. there may also be a number of undescribed sp of Tarantula in Australia...

    also...

Fighting spiders?? just for the kicks of it??

  • im talking real tarantula's not the sissy ones we have here,jk. Most would be in the tropics? + they are not that common, thats what i was refering to.

In answer to your other question, not just the kicks, i like to see how the spider/centipeade acts in the situation. Check out thier capabilities.

Found out some interseting things, a small centipeade will take down a large trapdoor.

  • I'm not surprised the centipede would often "win"... but.. still...

but... REAL tarantulas?? sissy tarantulas??? Really!!! How old ARE you???

What by your definition is a Sissy tarantula?

    is Phlogiellus sp a sissy?

  • For want of a better word, yes 'sissy'. How big is the whistling tarantula? And the other Tarantulas from oz?

I was comparing them to the largest spiders in the world, and i beilve the Australian ones are smaller- am i correct?

I hope calling the Australian Tarantulas 'sissy' hasnt offened you in some way.

How old i am? Neither here nor there but for the books 10years old, only ten year olds dig up potentially dangerous spiders and use incoherant language on the net :)

    Peace out

  • I C... Phlogiellus sp grow about average size for a tarantula... maybe slightly smaller... about 15 cm so about the size of your hand... I have heard they tend to have a short temper.. they are also one of the few that are able to stridulate (make hissing like sounds when they feel threatened)

having some similarities, I might say that your spider in this video is not a trap door or a funnel web... but instead one of these tarantulas. but im no expert..

  • you live in the us am i correct?

These spiders live all around my house and i have classified them as either Australian Brown trapdoor spider, or (possibly the same species but from another book- Golden Haired trapdoor spider)- these spiders do not have a 'trap door' rather web lined burrow and thats why alot of people miss identify

    (definately NOT a tarantula- 100%)

    but thankyou for your comments

  • yes I live in the US... thats a bit irrelevant.. I dont have have to live in India to know a P Regalis...

all I said was "I might say(...)" key word "might".... I also said I was no expert... but the Point being... these tarantulas I speak of look very similar to the spider you have here. the thorax, abdomen and legs share similarities of both trap door spiders and Phlogiellus... minus the spinnerets.

  • possibly it is the effect of the camera and film. Have u ever seen the sydney funnel web spider? This has the same physical charateristics of one to get an idea of what it looks like. Unless you think a S.F.W looks like a tarantula? Not so in my opinion

  • where do you live? in the states?

  • hahaha, nah in Australia

  • leave it alone

  • whered you find it?

  • down a hole

  • Trapdoor i think
