  • Awesome, fucking, song

  • i love these dudes! such an underated band, saw them in concert once with Korpiklaani and Arkona and they were kinda gettin dissed by the crowd but I thought they were awesome and they stayed calm and kept playin \m/

  • I really miss dog fashion disco alot

  • 1:00

  • Polkadot's (and every incarnation of the band- IE the singer) lyrics are so awesome!

  • Well I'm not going to see anything better than that today. No point in even looking.

  • Is this Todd doing the vocals?

  • @TheToTODrummer Yes. But wait. Aren't you dead, Jeff Porcaro?

  • @dfdrox Thanks. And I just got the name Toto when I was like, 12, from my friends, and later I became a drummer. No relation at all.. Haha. I just had to look that guy up, to be honest.

  • @TheToTODrummer Jeff Porcaro is the genius behind the "Porcaro Shuffle". It can be found in all its splendor on the original studio recording of "Rosanna".

The Porcaro Shuffle is replicated by the legendary Simon Phillips in an outstanding live performance of Rosanna.

Search for: Toto - Rosanna (From "Falling in Between Live")...you won't be disappointed.

  • Watched the video, got MASSIVE Mike Patton vibes, and then read the comments and realised I wasn't the only one. Oh well. They're both crazy talented vocalists, and I've been a fan of both Dog Fashion Disco and Faith No More for years. I'm ashamed I ONLY just found this,

  • if you like dog fashion disco/ polkadot cadaver check out hunab ku also, they follow the style of mr.bungle they pretty much kick ass

  • The only music I would buy.

  • They kind of remind me of MSI but good.

  • Idk bout halfbreeds but bedlam is a state of extreme confusion of disorder. Whoever said pc and scar on broadway should so something together, ur a fucking genius! 0.0 and did it say "rape becomes the new I love you?" with some weird face covering the word rape?

  • WOW I didn't know MR. BUNGLE had new album out. With all the bands out there trying to "sound like" Bungle, this is the best sounding thus far. Very impressed.

  • very system of a down-ish

  • What's Pure'' Bedlam For Halfbreeds'' mean?

  • @masterpanos1990 Half-breed is an historic term used to describe anyone who is mixed Native American (especially North American) and white European parentage. Thanks Wikipedia!

  • @Callipso99 and thank you!

  • this is their best fucking song ever, even when compared to his dog fashion disco days!

  • So I was reading my local paper this morning, and in my shithole town we have a sad excuse of a museum that has the original Elektro robot, anyhow the paper ran a story about it cause they just made a replica of it. After reading this story I decided to youtube it for awhile, and was watching this video, and sure enough at about 1:30 there is Elektro! I feel like its going to be a good day!

  • "I'm down with tippin' 40's to your memories".

This looks very colloquial. Could someone please break it down for me?

  • @pdpdbpdb he's talking about drinking a 40oz beer as a salute to the memory of a friend or lover i don't know who he is talking about in this song though.

  • @xxxslayerxxx666 Thanks!

  • @pdpdbpdb Yes I can, gangbangers dump 40 ounce bottles of malt liquor on the ground to remember fallen gang members.

  • @superangrymonkeyshow Thank you!

  • I Think I Just Tripped Balls !

  • Such a great band.

  • love it!!!

  • Song and Video Are fucking Great

  • this would be scary to trip to lol "la dolce vita in the city by the sea"!

  • they are the shit but i still miss DFD but i herd these are b-sides from the last DFD record. its still super bad ass and listen to them everyday

  • @trashyvicslayer If by "last DFD record," you mean Beating a Dead Horse, that was a compilation album that included a couple Polkadot demos.

  • I love this song so much.

  • Song and vid are awesome~ ^o^

  • O.G. = Original Gangster

  • O.G. = Original Gangster and this is a brilliant song!!!

  • Great song but what are O.G.s?

  • I cant get enough of this song!!!

  • pure mayhem for O.G.'S, Im down for tippin 40's to your memories! LOVE IT

    TODD SMITH IS BADASS!

  • ♫Lullabies in a voice so sweet. You and me and the devil makes three.♫

    XD

  • lol the wtf Zebra?

  • @Labfiend his name is steven.

  • I loved this, the video included, it's awesome!!! : D

  • So my dumbass just figured out this wasn't an official video, it was something you made. You have my increased respect.

  • No, it's official! I think it's even gotten airplay in some overseas markets.

I will continue with now your decreased respect.

  • booyah!

  • hahah

  • @danartbarn lol im subbin

  • @TFichVe The unofficial video was Bring Me the Head of Andy Warhol.

  • Todd doesn't just smoke weed, he is one fucked up puppy. That being said, he is just as fucked sober. There is nothing wrong with a morbid sense of humor. It keeps you young.

  • :D kinda remainds me of satanic cowboy

  • @emeraldthane There is definitely a line between a morbid and cruel, though. To much of the latter around lately. "Chloroform Girl" kind of pushes it for me, but I think it's intended more as horror than humor anyway.

  • @ForwardN2Unknown Chloroform Girl is actually my favorite song by PDC.

  • @emeraldthane

Fuck yeah! Amen to that. I personally do not habitually use drugs for recreational purposes... Though people think I do because of my humor, and how I act normally. Honestly, it's all about having fun and acting young.

  • I love DFD and Polkadot Cadaver equally. <3

  • i hate this band...but i LOVE this song and i dont know why...sooo freaking catchy.

  • how can you hate this band?

  • How do you hate this band?! They have one album out and it's pretty damn good.

  • Blasphemy. Todd Smith is God.

  • Eh, I like DFD more.

  • Weird shit, i like it.

  • listen to private eye by DFD....it's fucked up

  • I wonder how much weed Todd Smith smoked while he was writing those lyrics.

  • Oh my god. This is fucking messed up.

But I suppose its supposed to be...

  • Dog Fashion Disco's my favorite band of all time.. and I pretty much think of Polkadot Cadaver as the same thing. So fuck yeah this song fucking rules!

  • Polkadot Cadaver and Dog Fashion Disco pretty much own my soul, hey.

  • WTF why did they add that? 1:32

  • Maybe because he´s singing "Say hello to my little friend"?

  • Amazing song

  • Face down in a bed of nails. Best part of the song. FUCKING BEST SONG EVER!!!!!

  • one of my favorite videos. I prefer DFD but I still love PC.. and I absolutely love the lyrics of this song, haha.

  • I thoroughly agree with all that you said. DFD is amazing, though there is something about PC that's just so appealing as well. I love avant-garde metal oh so much.

  • This song is beast

  • I love the "Dont cry my sweet clementine" part.

  • WIN!

  • god all i can say is FUCKING AMAZING ASOLDJAOS;FHUSDHGAHSGKJASDNG

  • ouch, fuckin love this song! Saaaay hello \m/

  • 2:02 lol, devil mask?

  • Comment removed

  • whenever I listen to Polkadot Cadaver I feel like I'm trippin balls

    this is excelent

  • Love Polkadot and DFD and all the fucking bands TODD sings for! Like some Knives Out or El Creepo! Kicks fucking ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I feel like I'm watching a music video while tripping on acid... @_@

  • now just think what it would be like watching this video while tripping on acid, it would be insane.

  • amazing

  • Uh.................lulz?

  • lol this video is like a bad acid trip, complete chaos but still sweet

  • 2:03

When he says devil notice the... thing come up? odd.

  • i think its safe to say the drugs are kicking in

  • yeah they're the shit in some kindof way

  • I <3 Polkadot Cadaver

  • Mike patton and todd smith are similar because they are amazing vocalists. Just because smith can sing in a whole range of styles like patton, doesn't mean hes copying him. That's like an Olympic sprinter equaling the world record time and then saying he is copying the world record holder.

  • theres a diffrence between ripping someone off and being influenced by them.

  • @lethaldosage66 Well Put ., & Good Call.,. I get sick of people saying he copies Patton

  • @1oneeyeAnomaly i don't care what anybody says, i LOVE the fact that he is almost a patton clone, yet, it's so refreshing from the mr. bungle sound. It's very odd, it's like patton was so good that god took patton's alternate reality and then merged it with this world so that we can hear the best of both of patton's worlds lol.

  • @lethaldosage66 however, this band does reminisce a very Mike Patton-esque sound, which is not a bad thing, but I do feel like there are a lot of similarities with this and, say, Tomahawk.

But it's still a cool band, with its own originalities and significance.

  • mr. bungle

  • i love this song! polkadot cadaver rocks..! =]

  • this song is awesome

  • they are good todd and jasan are amazing but i still wish that dfd was still together.

well until then this will fill the void

  • Uhm DFD released a new album in case you didn't knew ;) So actually they are together atm!!

  • You mean a new album AFTER Adultery? Because they broke up shortly after that album.

  • Yes that's what i'm trying to say :P there's a NEW album of DFD..

  • Beating a Dead Horse to Death...Again is mostly demos, live tracks and re-released stuff from their earlier albums. It's mostly a compilation. But thanks for pointing it out anyway.

  • Yes, Beating a Dead Horse To Death... Again. It's a compilation of songs. No new songs though.

  • this song is awsome yet disturbing

  • I have most of DFDs cds... Not as amazing as DFD but still, this is still good.

  • so fucking amazing

  • i think they should do a song with scars on broadway!!! it would be wicked

  • LOL.

  • dfd are in the past!

this new project are so great!

  • i don't think he sounds much like Mike Patton but even if he did, thats like bitching because you swim like Michael Phelps.

  • That is an excellent point.

  • Fresh????.... you never heard Mr. Bungle?!?!? This band is almost like a love letter to Mike Patton

  • Polkadot Cadaver and The Mars Volta are keeping music alive. ...

    LMfao Mars Volta HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    Mars Volta sucks.

  • My new Favorite band!!!! <3

  • Hello Pharaoh, Where's Your Halo?

  • dude I fucking LOVE Polkadot Cadaver!!

before I just thought they were ok, cuz like..I really loved dfd and didn't think it would even compare...but now...fuck.

    I LOVE

  • dfd?

  • Close... But not quite.

  • no like, who or what is dfd?

  • Oh. DFD = Dog Fashion Disco. It's just a popular acronym for them.

  • thx:)

  • Hell yeah

    Seeing them TOMORROW!!!

    Sooo stoked <3

  • there's also an old reference to a swing song. "you and me, and the bottle makes three" he opted for devil

  • or he took from Marilyn Manson. He has a song named You Me and The Devil Makes Three.

  • 'You me and the Devil makes three" is a lyric from a really old Bluegrass song called "Diden't leave nobody but the baby"

  • This shit is fresh. Polkadot Cadaver and The Mars Volta are keeping music alive.

  • say hello to my little friend my god its so good to see you again

  • Anyone else catch the Scarface and Wizard of Oz references in there?

  • I got the Scarface but not the Oz.

  • "Theres no place like home, and we are not in kansas anymore"

  • Ah shit. How'd I miss that?

  • I had to watch it again to remember what the line was lol, but i thought it was pretty clever how they did that, especially since it works into the song so well =P

  • The great difference between DFD/PC and Mike Pattons stuff is that Mike Patton get's lost in his own genius while DFD/PC keep their songs multi-dimensional, but they never end up in pure chaos like Pattons. Also, many people have a voice like Mike Patton, and I think Todd Smith sings more like Serj Tankian than Patton.

  • i think it sounds kind of like system of a down like from system of a down and steel this album..

  • Why are you people so stupid.

I always feel glad finding another interesting band. Abd finding this band is a happiness too. I don't care that's it's like patton-style, if someone brings new kickass music of patton style it's GREAT.

  • I respectfully disagree. I recently discovered PC and DFD and I keep seeing comments like this so I have been checking out Mr. Bungle and Mike Patton's work, and I have yet to hear anything that I enjoy near as much as I do PC and DFD. They are excellent in their own right. I haven't been this excited about a band since I discovered SOAD, or John Frusciante.

  • your a retard this is not like bungle it may be in the same genre but thats it and i dont think this bungle or dfd should even be catagorized into a genre becasue it is so unique

  • Todd has a really unique high range. Cool voice on that fella.

  • This video and the one for 'Chloroform Girl' are great! I love the manic energy in this one. Fits the band perfectly.

  • bungle was good but just cuz a band is the in the same genre dose not make them wannabes i think they are alot better anyways and all you bicthes that do not listen to them because there "wannabes" your all head fucks!

  • Who fucking cares who started what, the fact remains that Polkadot Cadaver wrote this song, not anyone else.

    Genre's dont mean shit anymore

There are differences in every style of music.

Patton did not write this song, there for Polkadot Cadaver gets the credit.

Sorry but get off Pattons nutts, and write your own damn music, so that I can say you're wanna be!

  • Bungle and Patton followed Zappa and other progressive artists from the 1970's. DFD followed Bungle/FNM/Patton et al from the late 1980's and 1990's. Everything has been influenced by something else. Very little is brand new anymore. The comparisons are getting old. For those who appreciate music as artform, these people and their comments should be buried beneath the slag.

  • Zeta, this sounds nothing like bungle. Tre Spruance would slap you in the face.

  • I have to agree with Zeta, not that I dislike this band or anything... But this guy sings just like Patton on Bungle. Period. He is not "influenced by" or "inspired by"; He is copying the guy. That said, we have to remember that there is very few original singers, and there is nothing wrong emulating your haeroes. Glenn Danzing sings like Elvis and Elvis himself was "borrowing" his style from the african american singers of his time.

  • I do agree but I still love both DFD and Mr Bungle.

  • I'm not complaining

  • ... I've listened to a bunch of songs by Bungle, and I'm a huge fan of DFD and growing to enjoy Polkadot Cadaver, and I have to disagree. They do have similar sounds at SOME points... But most after listening to Bungle, DFD and Polkadot Cadaver sounds... Really nothing like Bungle... Very few of their songs are even remotely alike.

  • Its pure flattery. Yes Patton is God.

  • I agree. I called em wannabes before, but I can't get enough of this freakin band. I guess I need to step back and realize that Bungle, singlehandedly, created an entirely new genre all it's own. It's cool to see this style survive, and not go by the wayside, kind of like Mr. Bungle did. Long live "whatever the fuck you wanna label this music"!!!!

  • I call it "Schizo Rock" since the late ´90!

  • weird song

  • best track of the whole album!!! love it

  • Hehe, Purgatory Dance Party was the first CD I ever bought that I liked all the songs on. :D
