@kornypony I'm not sure, saldy. I think they only removed a small amount of moves from Kiryu (I just can't confirm which). It's been close to a year since I last played the game to remember what they changed.
@kornypony As far as I'm aware it was just the rising kick and the Hell's Floor combo that were removed. To be fair Kiryu has by far the most moves of the Yakuza 4 characters, they had to level the playing field a bit...
I had the best ending to my fight with Daigo today with Kiryu... we were both near death and he knocked me down. Instead of finishing me, he started taunting. I hit triangle and Kazama took that fuckers knees out. lmfao. so awesome!
Yakuza 4... I have to guiltily admit that Kiryu wasn't my favorite character in this game... Akiyama's personality was just too win. He was easily the coolest character there in my opinion. Absolutely fucking legendary gane though. I've begun completing sidestories now. I wanna fight the Amon family!!!
@HybridDragons I hate to say it, but I feel the same way. The moment Akiyama's story began, I instantly became a fan of him. Something about his fighting style I just love also. Also best of luck on the Amon family. Akiyama's & Kiryu's are the best fights.
@HybridDragons Kiryu rather plays a backseat role to the other characters, which i think was a good move for the story and the fighting mechanics. Especially when he already had games to develop his character and fighting style. Saejima gets the most spotlight out of the characters and a strong storyline. That is my personal opinion however, while i like all the characters, always hated fighting with tanimura (NO GUNS EXCEPT FOR TAUNT WTF) and akiyama felt like mindless button mashing.
@1337er1337berserker I love fighting with them all. Akiyama's kicks are just FTW. (His running attack leaves you less vulnerable than other characters') Tanimura... If you don't like tanimura... Tanimura has a heat action after all his moves. Saejima is a powerhouse, playing as him feels like knocking down garden gnomes. They're pretty defenseless but it's still fucking fun. And Kiryu... Kiryu needs no explanation. If A loan shark and a detective could shoot just shoot people... Nah Mean?
yeah..too easy..i played it on hard..too bad...i got goosebumps when i watched this cutscene...it's fun though..to see all the protagonists fight each other like this....
@KeikunFPSPinoy I agree with Amon now. But with #3's bosses, they kinda just felt harder for me, only because of the amount of health bars they had (with the exception of Lau Ka Long, who was a bastard to fight, particularly when you experience his fight for the first time) :P But not only that, but playing a previous Yakuza game like #3, then going on to #4, you tend to be really use to the game that it makes it easier in a way.
@KeikunFPSPinoy Touche, heh. I actually dodged it... But double dodged back into the end of the lazer.... Took no damage though surprisingly from it. I have No. 4's Amon fight on my channel. My Kiryu fight was kinda sloppy though. I'm thinking of re-recording his fight.
Well, as we all know, the Japanese difficulty levels are set lower than ours. For example, their hard is our normal. The game's only flaw is the lack of difficulty for American players. Overall, an amazing game, a true work of art.

Hey MazManZero, do you know what moves did they remove from Kiryu's Yakuza 3 moveset?
I just found out that "Rising Kick" is no longer available for Kiryu (only Akiyama & Tanimura can use it)

I like to finish them off with the Essence of Head Bashing - take 'em both down at the same time, and in the most embarrassing manner possible.

They maybe main characters of Yakuza 4 too, but you cant beat the main character of the entire franchise. =)

3's bosses were MUCH harder haha, and Amon was harder in 3, from my experience. Good video

@MazManZero And bleh to YouTube jibberish.... I meant as no. 3 's, not that #3' crap. :P

@MazManZero Yeah I dont know whats with that Youtube font/text correction crap. Amon had a bunch of life bars lol
KeikunFPSPinoy 10 months ago
@KeikunFPSPinoy 6-8 life bars I believe? I'm almost tempted to fight him in no. 3 again. Shame he didn't use lightsabers in No. 4 also. :P

@MazManZero He had that friggin laser, lol but at least it was really predictable

@maravich12 That's true, sadly. =/ But not much can be done about it I guess. Oh well.

I agree, this fight was way easier than it should have been. Still epic as hell though.
