  • lets be truthful you just wanted to have fun hahahaha

  • we need more people like you in the good, great job dude

  • IN CASE OF FLOOD

    1. run to the nearest truck with camera in hand

    2. drive to slightly flooded roads

    3. realize that in your hurry to get to the water you drove the chevy

    4. go back home and get a real truck (aka FORD) so you can put a video on youtube and waste 13 min and 52 seconds of anyone foolish enough to watch this all the way through

  • hay good job on helping those people out. if i had my license i would do it with my suburban. anyways, that is a cool weather alert raidio. how much did that cost?

  • i didnt watch more than 20 seconds of this video to realize how much of a douche this guy is.

  • @Ridinred02 i knew he was a douche when all his trucks had less than a 1/4 tank of fuel

  • I think Mr Rogers was your daddy wasnt he???? He had to be as you two sound alot alike...

  • @aspec404 Mr. Rogers doesn't drive a Diesel Excursion dumbass

  • seatbelts save lives

  • a real truck dont need spark plugs go diesel

  • Stop!!! What do you call a1975 Ford 460? not a real truck!

  • your undercarriage must be pretty clean now...

  • he was justing haveing to much fun playing in the water

  • Nice video! I go out and do the same in my 2005 Ford 250 with 2inch lift and snorkel. Why did you switch from the gm truck to the ford?

  • He got in the Ford Excursion Because the GMC was to light to pull the other cars out..

  • Check out my flood video at rumerboyz on youtube

  • Back in 2004 the Philadelphia area was hit with the remnants of Hurricane Ivan. It caused massive flooding. My grandmother had 3-4 inches of water in her basement resulting in her car being totaled, two garage doors having to be replaced, and a new washer and drier. But the worst went to her sister. Her sister has a small bridge in her driveway that you have to cross to reach her house. That bridge was washed away and had to be rebuilt twice.

  • now daniel, why would yoe go out there with that little diesel

  • Little Diesel? The 7.3 is not at all little.

  • your a cool person for helping those people. i would of done the same lucky you had the right truck. big enough to keep you out of the water.

  • cute toes hehe

  • Im sorry i may have brought that to you lol, we were in a South Dakota walmart on the 16th... or 15th and they locked us in due to a tornado that missed us by 15 miles.

  • I'm in Detroit and its been raining all day... no bad flooding yet, just all along the sides of the roads.

  • where do you get a weather radio like that?

  • Very eventful video Daniel. I'm happy you gave your helping hand and had the chance to document it.

  • Water crossing is great fun! But make sure to be careful (which it looks like you were). Luckily you didn't have to worry about a wet ignition system with a diesel. Do know where your breather tubes are for the transmission, axles, and t-case though! Just like in a motor, water and oil/lubricant don't mix well!

I took my Ford 300-6 through some pretty deep, and quick flowing stuff in the Rockies too. The video is under my profile if you have a moment to take a gander.

    Keep it up man!

  • i would go in there with my quad lol

  • No no problem goin' throught all that water with that 7.3 PowerStroke :D

  • how many gallons of fuel can you put in the excursion?

  • The 7.3 F250 has a 38 gallon tank, so probably somewhere around there.

  • yeah it needs to be big in order for it to go 300 miles on one tank lol damn gas guzzlers, or diesel rather

  • I get about 420 miles on 1 tank of diesel. Anywhere from 13-16 MPG

  • me encanta! ;)

  • damn must be so fun helping people i wish i had my license and a truck

  • I like your bow splash. LOL

  • Who was honking and why?

  • Impatient jackasses maybe or the stranded motorist? idk

  • when the horn gets under water or wet, sometimes it'll go off, or someone was just a dick

  • Yeah, but I don't think the former was the case.

  • Our school just went to Wornsberg Missouri, How far away is that from you?

  • i posted my comment before i meant to again. DOH!

when i was in ottumwa for three weeks last summer the des moines river was flooded and the crest was like 18 ft. when i got there it didnt go below 14 ft because it rained like 7 inches while i was there. im going there this summer and the west music store isnt covered in sandbags now so its time to buy me a guitar!

  • thats some good deeds!!

  • Good video man, :)

  • and this just happened to land you on the news! pretty cool!

  • where do you live anyway to get this much water

  • Missouri it looks like

  • i saw an issue of popular science next to the emergency radio, i get that magazine too =)
