@daredevilstu Vsync WAS off. Fraps locks the fps to 60 when recording. When I'm not recording the fps is maxed out at 299.

dude nice specs and fps, so I am thinking if I get a single 460 maybe I get 40-50 with the settings. I just have different CPU (Intel® Core™ i7-640M, 2.88-3.44GHz)

@Javbuff2008 You should get a lot more than just 40-50 with a single 460. This is a Source game, you can max them out on a tree branch.

@sasfox547 It's a DLC update for L4D2. You get the No Mercy map with the original characters, but L4D2's special infected and guns.

I have a 460 for my new PC I'm building, what fps do you get without FRAPS locking it at 60?

@foist101 I have 2 1GB 460's in SLI. I average well over 100 fps with every setting maxed (16xQCSAA, 16xAF). A lot of times my frames are at the max of 299 fps.
