The Puritans to which I refer I will admit are limited to the time I live in. .I was referencing the present. Not the distant past which holds much that many of us would not feel proud about in terms of ancestral history. Puritans these days seem to be hard working people who don't hurt anyone. Unlike conservative christians who destroy for profit and make deals with their prophet to not reign down any consequences on their hypocritical heads.

3 states have laws against gay marriage. marriage is a states rights issue. no way in hell should gay "couples" be given the same privileges normal couples have.
