gwapo sana kaso wala siyang buhok sa kili-kili! kung meron sana, eh di mas hot sana tignan habang naliligo ng sukang puti! :| sana magkaroon pa siya ng ibang exposure or commercials na nililigo rin!
whitening skin.. its like a social and beauty thing.. if you're white, means you're rich and you dont work outside like common people do.. its a beauty thing cause some asian
Not really... it has always been a class-related thing. Even before colonial times, poor families were often farmers and often working under the sun while rich families were often inside their homes and usually had lighter skin.
If you read the commercial you will find that is not what they are selling. Caucasians in Northern Europe often suffer from rickets and bad teeth because they don't produce enough of a specific form of vitamin D due to lack of sunlight. People blessed to live the tropics never had to worry about being deprived of sunlight. For Caucasians today a tan is a luxury and a mark of shame for post-colonial victims.

Who is the commercial model for this one? If I remember, he's a mainstay in Studio 23's Y'Speak. I just never caught his name.

@coolfrenzy16 Vincent Liwanag. Yes he was a mainstay in Y'Speak before (and a tadjock in Wazzup Wazzup).

I don't understand the obession with skin whitening. Isn't melanin important for protecting your skin in sunny climates?
