If you read the commercial you will find that is not what they are selling. Caucasians in Northern Europe often suffer from rickets and bad teeth because they don't produce enough of a specific form of vitamin D due to lack of sunlight. People blessed to live the tropics never had to worry about being deprived of sunlight. For Caucasians today a tan is a luxury and a mark of shame for post-colonial victims.
