I hav a dual boot of xp and Vista, I hav also got Virtual PC OS emu with win Vista, Win 95 and Win 98 and also DSL (Damned small linux ISO).
I hav another Virtual emu called Virtual Box. On that i hav Mandrive linux and GoS linux. I also hav WinUAE Amiga Emulator, on that I hav Workbench 1.1, 2.1, and 3.1 and I want 4.
The first dock was actually on an IBM computer way back when IBM made own OS. Try to rip a blu ray movie, or play games. What's that? You can't? I dual booted OS X and vista and I actually switched to vista simply because you can't do everyone on macs. Everyone copies each other, apple paid creative 100 million because they stole their ideas. They stole GUI from xerox as well.
Although the IBM's OS featured a 'dock', this was not like the mac dock but was what is now used in windows as the "task bar". There are USB blu-ray re/rw for the mac and they plan to release slot loading ones as soon as they can get the license for slot loading drives off Sony. As for the GUI statement; Apple PAID Xerox for use of the GUI which they had invented. Microsoft conned Apple out of the GUI by asking for some macs so they could write programs for them.
Apple paid Creative a lot due to a patent violation, however, this had nothing to do with the MP3 player aspect of the iPod as the iPod came out a whole year before the first Zen. It was the fact that the Zen could play videos first that got them the patent, however, would you really own a Zen? Or a Zune? LOL!!
I can run any windows app/exe on my mac (no windows partition req.), you're obviously just inept at using one ;-). And yet you can't run mac files on windows.
bullshit, you don't know what you're talking about! How does it know it's a mac? It doesn't! How can I run a PC game on a mac without first fooling the game into thinking that my mac is a PC? I set the settings myself, they are on full quality. You sir, are an idiot.
LOL! So you are now claiming that you are running Crysis on full quality (i.e. Very High / DX10) on a MAC with ooh, lets say a minimum would need to be 25fps. At 1920x1200, of course. Is that what you're saying, nooblet?
Well, you got me ^_^, personally I'm not no, my GPU isn't quite good enough to run it full. I have it about mid-way. Although it would be possible with the best or second best cards that you can get for a mac pro.
You can run DX10 on a mac, how else would I be running Crysis? -_-
'You can run DX10 on a mac, how else would I be running Crysis? -_- '
Crysis only needs a DX9 graphics card to run, not DX10.
DX10 is hardwired into Vista, so unless you are running Vista with a DX10 graphics card then you aren't seeing all the DX10 effects. Even if you hack the XP version to enable the Very High settings this is still not actually using DX10, it simply allows more detail, but it is still being rendered using DX9. The water effects are clearly different, for example.
ok as far as i know that episode name is "Gates vs. Jobs" from SuperNews right? lol where did u get the exposé? and plz, upload that SuperNews episode :D

Now, back to Crysis ^_^
dan892k7 3 years ago
'Now, back to Crysis ^_^ ' surely it's not playable at 4 frames per second???
maureenOWW 3 years ago
I've never bothered with the frame count, but it was pretty smooth actually.
dan892k7 3 years ago
That's because it auto-configures itself. In the case of Macs, to 'low'.

OK, well I'm probably running DX9 then, but who cares really? It looks nice and it plays well, what else do you want?

Ok, so everything you did here was just normal Vista? Did you have to install anything else to accomplish what you did in here?
