  • Boromir was a great man. He had his faults and temptations but he in the end he did the right thing.

  • Boromir used to want the ring, then he took an arrow to the knee, and the chest, and the shoulder, and the chest again, and the leg...

  • boromir :( :'(

  • nice video for the brave man of GONDOR

  • when i was litte, i played the two towers on my gameboy (like for real)

and at the part of boromirs death, there is this music, on a piano, and i love it, i stayed for hours in that level just to listen it, if someone knows how it is called, pls tell me!

  • it may sound cheesee, but i listen to this in my down time. It really gets a lot out to help let go. (answering question) i believe the name of this song is callen Evenstar).

  • I could listen to this all the time, picturing epic bromance in battles haha.

  • Boromir was my favourite character. he showed that the race of men has faults, and often dark desires, but his intentions were good, and he was noble, and in the end he did what was right. Farewell brave son of gondor!

  • Sean Bean, Boromir, greatness.

  • Boromir was everyone's Bro-omir.

Rest in peace, you handsome, angry, rugged man.

  • the start is good and the end

  • I wish tolkien was alive to write more books...

I hope peter jackson makes a movie about sutff that happend b4 the fellowship of the ring. Where we can see more stuff from the north and more of faramir/boromir

  • Boromir had a trouble with himself that many people nowadays have-he wanted too much...

  • If only the Priest class (Gandalf) stayed with the party so they could Rez him. But no! He had to split up so he could go on a Subquest to Slay a Demon for Experience.

  • he was my favourite character and he died in the first one :(

  • @Lanco1231 Boromir is also my favorite character. I like how he and Gollum and Eowyn all have internal conflicts ... and how they conquer them.

  • Boromir would have survived a lot longer if he'd had his shield in my opinion!

  • Sean Bean as Boromir

  • For Gondor...I like This Heroes..Aragorn,Faramir and Boromir...Sons Of Gondor...

  • Sean Bean. Awesome. I actually pronounce his name like that, Seen Bean.

  • @ExpertiseGamer yeah he's one of my favorite actors too. His character in this movie is very poignant and even as years passed after the trilogy of these films have been released, I still remember his role the most. I like how he's not completely good but he's not entirely evil either. Great actor, he is.

  • BOROMIR :'''''((( why must he die??

  • am ende hat er sich seine ehre bewahrt!

  • be at peace...son of gondor....

  • hey mans...What is the song name please..?*...

  • The song is called "Evenstar".

  • This is a very sad situation.Much I cried.Best movie ever!

  • The song it's in the two towers for aragorn :')

  • let odin take him to vahalla he deserves to be there he fought and died well

  • hey, im not that studied on my knowledge of Nordic legends but is vahalla the heaven for warriors of Norse legend, for i am indian and we believe there is a state were warriors come from in our country and im wondering if valhalla or vahalla is a physical place? RIP Son Of Gondor

  • If he he really wanted the ring that badly he would have just cut the fellowship down, only Legolas would pose a threat because he is an archer panzy.

  • rest in peace son of gondor=[

  • I have a question. If Boromir killed Frodo and took the ring, would Boromir transform to gollum?

  • no, how would he transform into gollum????

  • he wasnt weak its just used more of its power on him because he had never beeen near this kind of power, it also knew he was strong and could get the ring from frodo maybe even the fellowship eventually the ring would ahve took them alll

  • all boromir wanted was the strength to protects his people , gondor

  • ...and also glory for himself:

The Ring would give me power of Command. How I would drive the hosts of Mordor, and all men would flock to my banner!'

Boromir strode up and down, speaking ever more loudly: Almost he seemed

to have forgotten Frodo, while his talk dwelt on walls and weapons, and the mustering of men; and he drew plans for great alliances and glorious victories to be; and he cast down Mordor, and became himself a mighty king,

benevolent and wise. FOTR The Breaking of the Fellowshp

  • if he really wanted the ring he wouldn't die to save Frodo

  • He also was under pressure from his father to get the ring, not to mention everybody would want the ring willing or not.

  • boroir is awsome he takes 1...2...3 arrows ^^

  • boromir was a great character i still cry when i see the end of that movie

  • what is the name of the song

  • It's called Evenstar

  • ty but i meant this version

  • boromir my hero

  • Boromir was my favorite character from both book and movie.

  • He truly was viking. I can relate, since I have viking ancestors. Boromir was one of my favourite characters as well. But my favourite character funnily enough is the one to kill Boromir.

  • You must be a stupid american or something. Boromir is based on the viking warriors. He does look like a legit viking, atleast somewhat. Though somewhat more modern version of viking.

  • i know he s in the animated ones but not in this one

  • ...what kind of vikings are you used to seeing? Do you expect them to wear helmets with two horns on them? Those vikings never existed. But lots of things about Boromir resembles a viking. The shield he carries, his fighting style, his long hair and beard, his blowhorn, his temper.

  • yeah maybe you are right but i have the same hair, beard and temper

  • See? There's plenty of viking stuff even about the Sean Bean portration of Boromir. He just doesn't look like the stereotypical brute viking with horns on helmet. But he does have features that are commonly applies to vikings.

  • yeah you are right shame on me for not seeing all this :(

  • Awesome :D

  • boromir never had a real temper remember the ring was controling him

  • Boromir displays his temper before being sedduced by the ring. Like when he cuts his finger on the blade and then reacts aggressively.

  • Boromir was the best one. of them all.

  • sad he got shot to death... at least the Orc that shot him is missing an arm and head.

  • Boromir was awesome and used to be my favorite character until he was said to be betraying frodo and sam for the ring =O

  • This is the power of the ring who forced him to betray them, but later, before his death, he manage to resist to this power and tried to apologize.

His death is the proof : he wanted to protect the two others Hobbits.

  • good

  • Great Video! It is realy cool.Boromir was a great warrior of Gondor! He sacrifice was not in vain!"Be at peace son of Gondor"

  • beautiful

Boromir was the best :X :((

  • I prefer Faramir :) but yeah, Boromir was cool xD

  • @tinebiene93 So did his father :/.

  • @AlexluveoL He was the best, I agree. He was the most human ... not completely good but not entirely evil either. And he really just wanted to save his city because he loved his people. His intent was noble.

  • @AlexluveoL aragorn II elessar is the best, but gandalf when he died it was sad, but when boromir died in the extended movie and aragorn and boromir was like human, its like a soldier loosing his best comrade. it was epic and sad.

  • BOROMIR ROCKS!!!!

  • thanks ^^

  • 2:00 - 2:04 is my favorite part of the song.

  • No way man, his father deserved to die because he made Boromir do it. Boromir was just a pawn.

  • Yeah ... but in the original book his father is a worthy man too :-)

  • LOL I'm reading them now but I'm not up to there yet.

Boromir rocks, but Faramir is just as cool.

And Telperion, Laurelin, and Galathilion will be my childrens' middle names!!

  • This slides combined with the song make this video so beautiful. The first 30 seconds are my favorite, but the entire thing is great.

  • what is song name?

  • Evenstar^^

  • connell boromir thought because he was dying he felt he failed Minas Tirith his father and brother and then what you siad

  • Can you imagine how it felt to be Boromir, feeling the shame of breaking the oath he made, and how useless and pathetic he thought he was? And then dying with that thought.

  • Thats not quite it...

  • it'a different evenstar isn't it?

  • Yeah, i think it is^^
