@meandrunkify Bzzt, wrong. A steampunk-esque set of armor isn't very shamanistic. Also, you only put down one turret at a time (versus four) and it has a cooldown, not a short GCD. What do shields have to do with it? Their shield skills are really unique and are generally infused with mechanical elements. Such as: An engineer can block a projectile and absorb it, then use the projectile it absorbed to launch it back at a time of their choosing. Since when do Shamans use explosives and gadgets?

@meandrunkify can a shaman use flamethrowers/grenades? can they place mines? can they fire sending themselves flying away from attacking opponents? can they shoot a net at a fleeing opponentt? how about roll backwards while spilling oil so attackers slip? but yea... def the same

all the switching between belts or weapons or whatever the class you choose uses looks really annoying. I mean you already have the skills, switching weapons is just an annoying and un-needed game mechanic to limit the players ability to use their character. its the same mehcanic every mmo uses only more difficult, and less immersive. it makes no sense, and does nothing but waste time during a battle.

Why did you say 'Turrets' after the 'Inventions' column and instead had to make us look all the way to the right to see the Turrets section instead of gradually getting there. Why didn't you go in order: Inventions then Explosives then Gadgets and finally Turrets?

@Elsoddo its actually just a type of off-hand weapon. they were in GW1 as well but obviously they are different now, but its nothing special other than, like with every weapon, the skills it allows for each profession to use

@decomposingbrains IMO you should not choose your race based on racial skills, since they are weak (in comparison to 'real' skills) and are there just to add extra flavor. Try picking a race based on the things you like about it. :)

Ever since I saw it I knew I was going to roll a Charr Engineer. Though once I play through the whole game, I'm going to go back and play a Sylvari (probably Thief or Elementalist).

Thanks for this video, hopefully the new profession will be revealed by next week, if not you could talk about game lore maybe note how the novels affect the world and how heroes and henchmen from the previous game will have their proverbial footprints in the new game.

@mcdavidmadafaka nope, mesmer is the most likely due to being referenced in both books, but that's also possible that the last profession is ritualist, no other chance than those 2 since i's said it will be a retuning scholar (armor 60 would b the meaning of this in gw1) profession
