The force taking the pitch from full forward to neutral and reverse is hydraulic. An internal spring returns the pitch to full forward, which is a safety feature to get back to the dock without any electric or hydraulic power to the controls. Thanks for asking.
That's a rather large impeller. Is there one to fit your standard Berkeley or Dominator pump? Has one been tested in a high-horsepower application? I have 730hp on engine and sometimes spray 325 more of nitrous on top of that.
@ControlIssues851 Wow! Your engine is a whole lot faster than we are designing to accommodate. But thanks for comments. Enjoyed your video. We are aiming for fuel-efficiency at variable speeds and loads, together with acceleration and low speed maneuverability. Thanks!
i need that jet drive for my nqd rc jet boat

WOW that ability to have Neg. pitch is amazing. that could make one hellaova stunt airframe with the right pilot

I was checking variable pitch propellers for aircrafts and i found this video.
Check out some aircraft props and even better for low speed maneuverability check helicopter rotors and get some ideas.

that looks great have you thought about making one for a propeller and not an impeller?

That is very impressive. What force changes the pitch? Is it pneumatic?
