Finally they decided to make her a british girl, but something remained, the very same name Lara and her look, she's not exactly a british stereotype, don't you think?. And forget any mistake, my native language is spanish and I learned english as a hobby.

compared to the initial tr, its incredibly dumbed down and cut in lenght.

for example, they reduced the rather complex cistern down to a room and the second room of that level represents the entire tomb of tihocan level.

the commentary says that the initial levels were confusing but that only appears if you really pay no attention.

if they at least also merged a redo of unfinished business to get at least some lenght increase

I finished this game twice! Once on the PC and the other on 360. The PC has more eye candy and textures, but the 360 was easier to play with the controller. It's really hard to get use to the keyboard with this game. Especially when you're trying to kill bosses and evade.

@qnzvixen yeah the controls are different. Also do you think they tried to make Lara stronger in this one? I mean, Lara in TR1 wore a heavy coat on this scene and when Lara gets on Natla's boat, she takes a nap. Lara doesn't even rest in this game, no sleep at all. Was this supposed to mean something or am I looking too far into it?

The Last Revelation was easily the best Tomb Raider game of them all... in that one, Lara actually raided.... tombs. wow. Plus, the story and setting of the fourth one is so much better, ancient Egypt + Egyptian mythology is epic.

I like how they made Croft Manor as a playable mystery in this game. It used to be just a tutorial and that was it. One could go there if they didn't want to play the game levels. Just chill, I guess. Now they made it a level! Play it on hard and you'll never get out. Well, if you play for hours you can. :)
