  • This is such a great song. This was my Grandmothers favorite song, I remember listening to it on the radio when i was young. I never really knew the lyrics till now. Wow, what a powerful song. Shame they don't make songs like this anymore.

  • To all the people I've lost over years. I miss you so much. Listen to the lyrics and one day I'll see all of you in a better place

  • @ronofontario I played this in '85 when Daddy died, in '91 when my Mom died (doctor error), in '04 when my best friend died. This is my "go to" song when I need to release and just cry. Hugs to you!

  • @LoryKP2010 ;( for your loses...

  • This is a very touching song. My mom used to play it when i was little and it always stuck in my head. It brings tears to my eyes :(

  • Life is what it is. I hate goodbyes.

    "C"

  • ILOVEYOUSOMUCH BABE..,!214'

  • Great work! Thank you. This brought back many good memories.

  • this song makes me so sad=(

  • Si je devais choisir une chanson parmis les dizaines et dizaines que j'aime follement, ce serait TIME . la musique est digne des grands compositeurs classiques !!!!!!!! BRAVO ALAN PARSONS :QUEL GENIE !!!!!! SO INTENSE SO DEEP SO STRONG SO GENIUS / THE VERY BEST !!! la seule chanson que j'écoute depuis plus de 25 ans sans lassitude....

  • T.T

  • What is time in the context of eternity but psychological conditioning, to which we are hopelessly enslaved, sentimentally immured with a contradicting emotion of fulfillment and discontent? What is time, psychological time, but nonsense?

Singing to it does not make it beautiful, it makes it romantically stupid!

  • I bought this tape in 1982. Wore it out, and just found this song again here. Wow, the memories.

  • This is my Funeral song. LOVE IT

  • @cdickenson64 ...my God, I was just thinking about the same;))) Weird!

  • @cdickenson64 I thought the same thing while listening to it! This and Sinatra's "My Way" :)

  • why is the water gone 4 ever ? its still in the ocean.

but time is like a molecule of water passing a spot on the shore.

once it goes by the moment is ovr and lost 4ever.

when your young time does seem everlong as u get older u realize that time u hav wasted is never coming back.this song is a definite reminder of that point.

  • @logalyn ...one day everything ends, rivers will be dry, and time will also be gone forever. I think that may be the point of Alan and Eric (RIP).

  • I love this song!

  • Definately "where" at 3:20". It can be heard clearly. Anyway you did a great job and the only thing that matters is that it is absolutely beautiful ... Te llega a lo mas profundo del alma y te trae recuerdos de esa epoca... y te hace sentirlos como si te regresaras en el tiempo esos casi treinta años cuando estuvo en los "Top 40". This song is definitely "MAGIC" ... and this video is perfect for it, as well as the lyrics you posted on it. Thanks for taking me back in "Time"

  • Beautiful !

Thank you very much for posting

  • I think it's "when", because the following "if ever" is also a time description, whereas if it were "where", it might make more sense to say "if at all." Of course, that doesn't work as muscically :)

  • forever love

  • ¡SUBLIME!!!!..... Gracias por enseñarnos la letra!!!

  • So Hard!!

  • It's hard to tell if he's singing "when" or "where".

I wish you would have shown us what that background singing was in the last verse. Anyone know?

  • ^Meant that as a reply to origin8.

  • Check it out on any song lyrics search. Definately "where" - the only line in the song that "where" is used...

I think the background singing in the last verse is a fading repeat of "forever more" (which is shown). The words blend into/are picked up by the tune - it sounds like a background harmony but think its digitised sounds...

  • thank you my freind , grait song

  • Yeah, u're got a point there.

Thx... but it can't be changed now =]

  • @3:21

    Think the words here are:

Who knows WHERE we shall meet again...
