Both evolution and the big bang are proven facts. They're the best explaination for what we see today. Our understanfing of how they exactly occurred might change in the future but the general concepts are set in stone. They make perfect sense. If you have a better idea just publish it. It will either fail in the peer review or chuck the old theory out into the cold and you'll be famous.

Why should anyone doubt these theories if ALL the evidence indicates that they are correct?
