The title of this video should be ABUSED DOGS OF BRITAIN AND IRELAND. These dogs were fought purely for the entertainment of guys with no conscience. yah yu can as they are Staffordshire bull terrier not American Pit Bull Terriers. However American Pit Bull Terrier are very easy to get hold of from any council estate in the UK. In Ireland you can have any dog you want

Red EBT = RHU The Red Hand of Ulster one of the top 3 badger dogs in Ireland during the legal badger trials so he was game against the badger and one of the best ever at it. He was not a fighting dog but a badger dog and very well respected by all respectable dog men in Irealand for that.

@neurocytohemotoxic quite a few dogs get blinded, noses ripped off, or get gutted by theclaws. Adult male badgers are around the same size as these dogs. The dogs are putting their heads into the badgers den and pulling it out into the open (drawring) not fighting the badger in a pit. These dogs are far smaller than American bulldogs and are fighting the badger in its layer. An adult male badger has the same bite force as a mountain lion. You can read about it in "pit bull garden".

All kinds of terriers are used including American pit bull terriers but they must be small enough to allow fighting in cramped conditions thus game bred terriers and staffies are often used. Yes a very cruel sport and now illegal in Ireland; at the time those dogs were active it was a legal.  A dog called a Patterdale terrier is now often used.
