  • Imagine that in 3d...

  • this game scared this shite out of me when i was young - evil music - got it off a zzapp 64 megatape :) - great days

  • They should re-release this on the Wii (both enhanced and origional versions), just like they did with "impossible mission"

  • Comment removed

  • i mean....

I was a Man Who Waited 16 years for clue and to finish this game but not from this link. This is not a completion of the game....When i realized who is mourdered i tell myself...

    ... DINGLE !!! You fucking bastard !!!!!!!! :))))))))))))))))) it WAS you :)

  • Has someone figured out where the piano come from? ;)

  • @Targen81 - I've talked to the game's creator, Sam Manthorpe, and he said it was a bug in the game - the piano's supposed to be upstairs before the murder. The same goes with the "E" letter, which is included in only 6 out of 10 evidence objects and should be on every one of them.

  • My favourite game on c64.This game was too hard for me when I was kid and I didn't finish it. I must play it again.

  • Please, someone play, and receord it.

  • @sfrancesco82

I played and recorded it some time ago, but i didnt manage to get the file to a good size (it was 4gb raw file)

  • it`s true. i`ll waiting 16 years for help how to finish this bloody game.

  • @megamegafon

what do you need help whit?

  • They are all inspired by Michael Jackson. Everybody is Moonwalking. This game should be remaked.

  • I loved this game!!!

  • I really need to play this through again. Never solved it as a kid, I remember getting that code from a magazine as I never could figure it out on my own. You sure found another great game!

  • The profressor mention that Angus McFungus had a terrible memory for numbers. So the code for the safe was his birthdate. It's mentioned on a silvertray in the kitchen. 21 Mars 19. The code is therefor 21031919. :-)

    Great game.

  • I just checked a walktrough in GameFAQs. The code wasn't a four digit combination as I remembered. It's 210319, assuming we can trust the walktrough.

  • ...and thanks for correcting the location for the code.

  • underrated game

  • Loved this game and still do. I got it free on a cover tape from the games magazine zzap64. I got quite far in this game back in the day it was very atmospeheric. I now haveit on emulator using ccs64, but i think the game crack i have is a bit dodgy.

  • There are several versions of the game available for download including the original tape version (you can find it in tapes.c64)

  • where can i play this?

  • Download a c64 emulator such as winvice (free). Then download the game file and open it with the emulator. I have put retro gaming related links in my channel profile.

  • The code to the safe us the year of the wine.

  • I remember the code was a four digit combination. I saw it in a computer magazine hint page almost 20 years ago. However it didn't say where to find the combination. It's usually a good idea to examine the items which I'm not doing in this video.

  • Hehe, thansk for sharing this.

Getting great memories from the game, I recall I played it many times till the part that the detective was in library and the light sunddenly went out. Someone shot me. Never got pass that one...was that scripted happening?

  • Never played this as far myself. I was rather limited in my English at that age and I think I didn't have the patience to concentrate on this for long periods since I had so many other games. I was more impressed by Maniac M. which I played at about the same time. It was possible to see the objects so it wasn't necessary to check every item in a dictionary, only those which weren't recognizable.

You should find a written walkthrough of the game with Google if you're curious about the library.

  • LOL, the same for me XD

    However, great game.
