  • watched a few of your vids, have one question: what time is it?

  • Stopped the vid at 0:32....... Voted thumbs down. If I wanted to hear music I'll turn on the radio.

  • @carcano38 : Mate, no one is asking you to like my stuff so don't feel bad about having to give it the thimbs down. I'm sure you can learn from my mistakes by building a better clock and video.

  • @carcano38

    yeah, you're an ass.

  • Cool clock, I am looking into building one. I am currently building a homemade CNC, then I can build the gears. However what are you using for axles in the gears. The plan I have talks about making out of woof dowels and drilling one out to fit the other inside. not too sure if your plan have an axle/shaft inside another?

  • I use stainless steel rod for the axles, and brass tubing for the spacers. If you want a completely "wood" look, you could make your own spacers from wood rather than use the brass tubing

  • Is there a place online to buy these. I live in a small town, so no real place in town to buy stuff.

  • I use 1/8" stainless Oxy welding rod. The brass tubing I get from a hobbie shop. You can also get various larger sizes of rod from the hobbie shop. I don't know of an "on-line" store, but there surely would be one.

  • Hey thanks alot, I found an online hobbyshop, as we don't have one. Ordered some, so hopefully I can get one built soon.

  • Amazing

  • lets hear the clock

  • Video: 5 *

    Music: 0 *

Let's just hear the clock ticking!

    Thanks for posting.

  • It really is a beautiful clock. And whoever said clock makers have to make good youtube videos? Thant music is gayer then a bag of dicks though.

  • is the kind that need to be rewound every so often?

  • Nice!!!

    Sweet!!!

  • what does it run on, i dont get how it dosnt stop?

  • It runs on a conventional clock spring. This spring drives the bottom (great) wheel which drives the rest of the mechanism.

  • Clock is beautiful, music is epic fail.

  • i know i hate the music but love any clock that doesn't use batts or power.

  • Pretty AWESOME.

  • Beautiful workmanship.
