@carcano38 : Mate, no one is asking you to like my stuff so don't feel bad about having to give it the thimbs down. I'm sure you can learn from my mistakes by building a better clock and video.
Cool clock, I am looking into building one. I am currently building a homemade CNC, then I can build the gears. However what are you using for axles in the gears. The plan I have talks about making out of woof dowels and drilling one out to fit the other inside. not too sure if your plan have an axle/shaft inside another?
I use stainless steel rod for the axles, and brass tubing for the spacers. If you want a completely "wood" look, you could make your own spacers from wood rather than use the brass tubing
I use 1/8" stainless Oxy welding rod. The brass tubing I get from a hobbie shop. You can also get various larger sizes of rod from the hobbie shop. I don't know of an "on-line" store, but there surely would be one.
watched a few of your vids, have one question: what time is it?

Is there a place online to buy these. I live in a small town, so no real place in town to buy stuff.

what does it run on, i dont get how it dosnt stop?

It runs on a conventional clock spring. This spring drives the bottom (great) wheel which drives the rest of the mechanism.
