@1980PintoMan No, You won because you had French and Spanish support. The revolutionary army was comprised of Milita who constantly ran away. The guerrilla warfare wasn't as huge of a factor as you say it is.

Once we landed on America's shores, we were called 'Colonials' and were looked down upon by the Motherland. It was OUR sweat and blood that beat back the natives, farmed the land, set up shops and shipwright operations, manufacturing. Many in the British Army sent to oversee us were of an oppressed group within Britain, too--Irish, for example, who were SO well treated by the UK.
