We have a wonderful choir at Our Lady of Victories SSPX church who sing a wide repetoire of traditional Catholic polyphonic music, the singing at Fr. Crowdy's funeral is beautiful. God Bless the SSPX and all those true Catholics in tradition.
Unfortunately the choir at Preston is quite bad now, Francis. Simplified chants sung mostly by older ladies and lots of rather syrupy 1940s hymns. The quality of singers and choice of repertoire is quite bad. Polyphony is seldom attempted and when it is it usually ends in several different keys. Unfortunate really, as I understand Preston had a wonderful choir some years ago.
Very nice to see the SSPX using a good quality polyphonic choir. It's not seen often enough, sadly. Come to think of it, it's the first time I've ever seen one in an SSPX UK chapel! Was it a hired choir or makeshift?
that performance is really pretty. i'm sorry for your loss.

Do you have the full video of the Requiem Mass?

Unfortunately the batteries on the camera died during the introit. However I know that others filmed the mass, so I'll see what I can find.

They sing beautifully! I love the counter-tenor especially (but then again, I love counter-tenors).
