@jamblam The Loar sounds just like a Gibson LOAR. I'm very happy with mine. Gibson has nothing on this mandolin. If it was made here in the USA. It would cost 4.000 easy. These mandolins Bark and have a lot of pop. Very nice balance sound, and very nice woody sound. You heard chopping wood, popping pop corn, These mandolins do have it all in sound. They are built. top notch.
Where can you buy one of these in the UK. I've trawled the internet and all i can find is a mandolin shop in germany which has very poor reviews. Any ideas??
